The fishing vessel was first class. The captain has great knowledge of the water and what is needed to catch big fish. You will not go wrong if you charter with this captain. Equipment is great. There were no problems with any of the equipment or the vessel. Captain was very prompt and super courteous. Seemed like he was a long time friend. FISH ON!!!

We took my 8year old and his 9 year old buddy out for a little Father/Son fishing outing. Captain Jason was extremely friendly and patient with them. They both had a blast and are already asking when we can go out with him again. Can’t recommend this charter enough. Thank you!!

Captain Jason put us on fish right away. We had plenty of action. He did a good job explaining the fishery rules, regulations, stoching efforts, fish movement and fishing expectations.

Jason was great to fish with. He is a good communicator and was flexible with our fishing times. His boat and equipment are top notch and had no problem finding fish. We caught a few fish, but when the wind kicked up they quit on is. I enjoyed the day on the water with Jason and we shared lots of fishing stories.

    Excellent and accommodating Captain

Jason was awesome. He found the fish on a challenging day. We were all pulling in fish at the same time and he loved it. He made sure the bait was always lively and he also made sure my elderly mom was comfortable. Really awesome guy.

Striped Bass Schools on Lake Murray

Oct 4, 2026 • Chapin
Lake Murray water temps are in the upper 70’s and the fall fishing pattern is heating up. Schools of striped bass are found congregating along the old river channel and drawn in to Blueback Herring down rod presentations with thumpers, and chum. Morning and evenings are producing large schools of topwater activity over open water and along the channel edges. Many of the schooling fish are in the 15-19” range and fight hard, although too short to be kept during this 21” minimum season. Find the bait and find the fish! Lets get you on the water! Tight lines - Captain Jason
