This was a special event…celebration of my fishing obsessed son turning 10! And what an awesome birthday adventure it was. Chris was patient, explained the process, answered a ton of questions from my 2 boys and guided us on a succesful fishing adventure. We caught several fish, including a couple 4 lb lake trout. The lake was beautiful and we’ve already feasted on some of our catch. Highly recommend!

Great Morning Trip!

Our experience with Captain Chris was excellent, we went right out and started getting bites. We caught several fish in the morning until they shut down and Chris worked very hard to get us the bites we needed. At the end of the trip he suggested we take our fish to Gar Wood Restaurant and had it cooked for dinner so we followed his suggestion and WOW! Blackened was definitely the way to go but we had it cooked several different ways and it rounded out the whole experience.

Chis was an excellent captain, fisherman, and host. He knew exactly where to go, where to fish, what lures to use, what depth to fish, what boat speed is perfect for success. We caught our limit in the first hour. Chris joked about burning out my arms from reeling in so many fish. We spent the next hour fishing and releasing until I was completely spent pulling up 3-4 lb lake trout from 300 feet down. Overall, an incredible experience

What a great experience. Captain Chris is great. He’s friendly, very knowledgeable, and was great with our kids (ages 12, 9, and 5). He put us on lake trout the entire morning and did a terrific job helping us land fish, rig lines, and even cleaned our catch for dinner. His boat is safe and clean. You should definitely check out Sierra Fin Addicts. You will be happy you did.

My buddy and I brought 3 of our kids and we all had a blast. Captain Chris was patient with the kids, got everyone involved, and was on the fish all morning. He’s very knowledgeable, we would’ve been lost without him. Even filleted our fish at the end. Great experience and plenty of delicious trout for both our families. Already looking forward to fishing with Chris again next summer!
