Bent Rods & Sunshine! The coho salmon bite was on fire this morning and the weather couldnt have been any better!

Endless Summer Salmon Action! The fall weather is perfect and the Salmon fishing is spectacular as always, here in Sooke! We have a ton of hard fighting BIG Coho around as well as Chinook Salmon both late run and resodent winters.

COHO RODEO!!!! The bite was on fire this morning!! Captain Cam got our guests on the fish right away with some stompers in the mix and a mystery bite peeling line off the clip. Fish ranging from 8-15lbs with multiple double header action, in perfect conditions. Our perfect Sooke fall fishing weather...warm, sunny, wind light is forecasted to stick around rest of October and so will the coho rodeo...letsgo!

We are taking advantage of the great bottom fishing right now that closes for the season end of September! Guests are jigging up their Lingcod and Rockfish limits on every trip.

We have been hooking into some big Chinook Salmon in the mid to high twenties this week. Yesterday morning both these Kings (26lb & 22lbs) turned and burned, peeling line almost into our backing making for some screaming reels (best sound), tired arms and big slabs for thee guests to take home Nice work, guys!

Happy to report the Chinook Salmon fishing is still very strong here in Sooke. All our boats and were reporting guests hooking up this morning on and action packed bite windows with some September Slab fights and early morning screaming reels . We love seeing it and love that sound! Nice work out there guys.
