Conditions on the backside of Catalian have been good. A bit of wind in the afternoon, but we have managed it.
Yellowtail are being caught once we get through the massive amount of bonito around the boat. Such large scools of bonito that hook ups are just taking seconds.
Plenty of action near the shorline kelp to keep the action going. Bass, sheephead and barracuda have been in the mix.
Floating kelp paddies off the island have not been producing for us, but we still try for those nice yellows and dorado.
