  Fishing with Trif Ozzy

  I went fishing with Ozzy twice – once in the fjords and once out on the open sea. Over the two trips, we caught 44 fish from 10 different species, including 9 ling, 4 rays, 6 tusk, as well as cod, dab, haddock and hake. Ozzy is not only a highly experienced guide and a true fishing enthusiast – he is also simply a great guy: friendly, patient and genuinely committed to making sure everyone has a fantastic time, including the youngest anglers. I can wholeheartedly recommend fishing with Ozzy to anyone visiting the Ålesund area. We had a fantastic experience, and I sincerely hope to come back and fish with him again!

  Captain Ozzy is a great Capt!! The weather wasn’t conducive to great fishing, But he would not give up till we caught some fish. His Joking and kidding around with everyone made the trip so much fun and truly memorable. If we are ever back in Alesund we will be sure booking with you again. Thank you again, Capt.   Biggest catch of the season!!

  Ozzy was a fabulous captain and fishing guide. He picked us right up at the marina near our hotel. It was just a short boat ride out to our spot and the moment I dropped my line, I had a fish on! We caught cod, coal fish, haddock, hake and polac. my daughter had the monster trophy fish of the day!! Ozzy thanks agsin for a great morning.

  Great fishing in Norway

  Had a great afternoon with Captain Ozzy. He graciously let us start the trip once we got into port with our cruise, was very knowledgeable and personal, worked hard to ensure everyone caught fish and had plenty of snacks/water. Also great communication with him before the trip — very responsive. we caught 4 different types of fish on our trip and about 2 dozen in total — despite the weather being less than ideal. Would definitely book with him again should we ever return to Norway.

  Fished with Trif Ozzo in Alesund, Norway. He was very enjoyable to fish with. Trif knew the water and showed me the right techniques. He was a great conversationalist, and I highly recommend him if traveling to Norway.
