This trip provided an exceptional experience fishing for bone fish. The guides were incredibly fun and knowledgeable, and I strongly believe they were the sole reason for the success of the trip. I gained a lot of knowledge about the wildlife in the region, and casting techniques that helped me find success during the trip. As a guide from Colorado, I would recommend fly fishing uno mas to anyone, and upon returning to Cozumel, without a doubt, I will be doing this trip again!

It was a good trip. I caught one snook, but had another six or seven good bites. The fish were really tight to the mangroves, so lots of seaweed and snags to hang on. I asked to only do spincasting. I also caught a couple of Jacks. I was supposed to go fishing on a Tuesday but the wind got up and the port was close support and I didn’t get to go till the Friday, but they took care of everything. It worked for me.
We fished the same muddy water 3 times with one fly change. When we finally started poling and looking for fish i spotted. Every fish because the captain was more worried about training or joking around with his buddy then looking for fish. I’m a guide and I know what effort and attention to your client looks like. This was far from it. Very unfortunate day. No fault of weather or rough seas it was the captains complete lack of care and desire to try.
We told Trevor that conditions were not going to be great tor today's trip, -but he wanted to go out anyway We decided to accommodate Trevor's wish to go fishing even though the conditions were rainy and windy. -We won't do that again..We would rather cancel a trip than to have disgruntled clients!
I had an amazing trip with Mike, he was very passionate about fishing, and we had a great time just hanging out and fished.
