We limited out on Kokanee salmon. Conner knows this lake in-n-out and has great “time”awareness in going for of big fish versus action. I’d really recommend the 5am start time - it’s early but you get the lake all to yourself for a few hours and a beautiful sunrise.
we went out on the lake at 5:30 am and within a few minutes caught a 3lb rainbow after a few hours completely limited out on Kokanee ended the trip with a 3lb Mackinaw.Despite cold and windy condition captain connor made the trip beyond pleasurable would highly recommend
Connor was amazing start to end. couldnt have asked for a better day out on the water with an amazing guide who knew the lake like the back of his hand. Great stories and conversation and you could tell he wanted us to catch fish as much as we did. 11/10 experience. would highly recommend this guide to anyone visiting the area!
First guided fishing trip ever & we were extremely satisfied! Connor was super chill, laid back & knowledgable! He was easy to talk to and made the afternoon extremely fun! He didn’t feel like a Host Captain, but more like someone we actually knew. I’d highly recommend booking a trip with him!
It was the first time fishing for Kokanee for myself and my bro, and we limited plus got a nice lake trout. It was great day to be on the water with a local guide who could give us tips on some of our planned fishing destinations for the rest of the week. We'll be booking with Conner again!
Captain Connor put me on the Kokanee up at Donner Lake first thing in the morning. Once I was a fish away from my limit he asked about changing things up and going after trout so i would be able to keep fishing.Connor is a very knowledgeable Captain with a great attitude and knows the lake very well. i cant wait for my wife to give me permission to go fish with him again!!
