We went after Chinook Salmon and thet did not disappoint. Our captain new the right spots, tackle, and technique. It was an exciting 4 hour trip!
My girlfriend and I went fishing with Captain Anthony and deck boss Calvin on Redemption Charters and had a phenomenonal fishing trip. The meeting location is easy to find with a local gas station/convenience store where you can buy ice, snacks or drinks. There is plenty of free parking and the marina is in a clean, safe location. The boat is beautiful and all of the equipment on board is top notch. When we arrived, they were ready to go and we even left the slip early. We took a short, comfortable ride to the fishing grounds and started trolling. Captain Anthony explained the reasoning behind the area that he decided to start fishing which made all of the sense in the world. The fish had other ideas, as they decided to go shallow which made no sense. Even with challenging conditions to start, Captain Anthony refused to give up and his relentless pursuit of fish paid off. The Captain worked tirelessly, tried using bait, different colors lures, fished different depths. He covered a ton of ground and when he tried the shallow water, the bite was on. We caught as many fish as we wanted to take to eat which consisted of King Salmon and Rainbow Trout. Calvin (mate) is a hardworking young man that is wise beyond his years that really knows how to fish. This father and son team worked together tremendously and were able to read each other's minds. There was even a little good luck charm named Remington (dog) on board who was so well behaved and I think helped bring us some fish. My girlfriend and I had a tremendous time and caught plenty of fish and had a great day on the water with truly nice people. Regardless of your skill level, I would highly recommend Redemption Charters if you are fishing in the Olcott, NY area.
first time going but it was alot of fun and captain and mate were so friendly and knowledgeable and whole experience was great for us and our 13 yr old boy! Will definitely be looking into to going again with them!

My family and I limited out on S teelhead and Salmon thanks Captain Anthony and his Fort Mate. Wonderful boat with sweet fish finder has us on fish whole time. thank you guys so much.
