we had a great day out. we caught 7/8 fish, kept 3 for dinner. the crew were friendly and really helpful. loved the stories from Dan the skipper. thank you very much, my family loved it. Ronnie

    Most enjoyable trip with whanau and friends lovely facilities on board Nice share of local knowwdge of iwi and landmarks, fishing etc There was a push bike rally in Taupo today which either restricted or closed off streets to access the marina🙄- way outside the control of Dan,Ree and co. Whomever organisers the bike event - use common sense for those who need to access boat Marina because there were event helpers who were not sure and a lot of finger pointing. even Dan and Ree had difficulty accessing the Marina! Enjoyable day for all 14 of us!

    Thank you Caroline for your kind review. The friendly nature of all your extended family members bought with it a genuine atmosphere of friendship and fun. The fishing team were keen and participated with enthusiasm. The delightful senior Nana’s were lovely ladies. Fishing was challenging but the team gave it a good go.     Had a lovely 3 hours on the water on a perfect autumn day, great hospitality from Dan and Rhi. Caught 4 rainbow trout (2 returned) and fresh sashimi on our way back while learning about the local area and culture. Thanks again!

    Such an amazing day! So glad we booked last minute, it was totally worth it. We even caught three fish despite the rough waves! Huge thanks to Captain Dan for being so patient and accommodating with us beginners, and thank you Rhi! ☺️

    With a beautiful boat, a gentle and kind captain, and Rhi who helped us so much, we had such a wonderful and relaxing time with my parents. It was truly an amazing trip, and we felt so comfortable and happy throughout. Thank you so much. We will definitely recommend you to many people, and we will book again. See you again soon!

    What a wonderful day we had with you and lovely family. The sun was out, the wind gone, the fishing started off hard but your catch of 3 top conditioned Rainbow Trout.     Amazing - boys caught heaps of fish

    It was an excellent trip, Captain Dan was great, our visitors from the USA said it was the best trip they had done and the fish we caught were huge!

    Yes Denise, a very busy trip. 7 lovely Rainbows caught and typical for Taupo were very good condition and size. 55 cm is a regular catch size. The team were quick to adopt our techniques which increases the success rate. It was just great for us to observe and enjoy the excitement with the group. Great group, great day. Than you Team.
