Alberta Fishing Charters – Pike – Walleye! 

Would definitely recommend this trip. 10 stars We did the three-hour sunset trip, pike & walleye trip, 4-8. My husband really wanted to fish while we were visiting Calgary and wanted to keep the fish to eat. The fishing regulations allow 1 pike per person per day and within a certain length. There are only a few lakes you can fish and keep the fish. We went to a lake 80 miles from Calgary to fish for pike. Next time we go, we will book a hotel closer to the lake. I have never liked fishing, but now I am looking forward to going back. We plan to do ice fishing with Captain Troy. Captain Troy was a great instructor. He is personable, knowledgeable, patient, helpful, and funny. He has a great boat and equipment. You just have to show up and maybe dress in layers. Would definitely recommend this trip with Captain Troy, especially for people who have a partner that doesn’t exactly like fishing!

Would definitely recommend this trip with Captain Troy, especially for people who have a partner that doesn’t exactly like fishing! We caught a lot of fish both days. We got our pike limit of 1 fish per person - we caught 2 fish we could keep and 1 legal-size walleye the next day we kept. If we could have kept all the fish, we could have filled the boat. We had a great time and my husband now has a wife who will happily fish with him. Thanks, Captain Troy.

Troy was a great tour guide and helped us all with fresh water fishing. As we had not fished fresh water before. No bites and we would move to another area really well set our boat can’t thank him enough I will be back for another trip with the kids

Troy was incredible, easy going and informative. He took us all around to the right spots and helped us to an incredible day on the water. We caught plenty of fish and made some incredible memories. Would highly recommend Troy as your next captain

I was worried that booking the midday Walleye/Pike fishing trip would be super slow fishing, but we were in luck and Captain Troy put us on some fish right away. My son and I landed fish at the same time twice during our 4 hour excursion. My son by far had the best day, but my daughter and I didn’t do too bad. We all had a great time catching fish and talking with Troy. He’s a very nice guy and wants to put you on the fish. I would recommend this trip for anyone wanting to get away from the crowds of Calgary. From Georgia (USA)
