El Back Down 2 es un impresionante barco deportivo de pesca offshore de 57' Miller Marine, completamente restaurado en 2017. Gracias a su lujoso interior totalmente climatizado y su amplia cubierta, puede acomodar hasta 6 pescadores pescando simultáneamente con máximo confort y estilo.
Esta máquina de pesca está propulsada por dos motores Detroit Diesel V8, de 600 HP cada uno. Cuenta con flybridge, dos baños con duchas, dos dormitorios con espacio suficiente para ocho pasajeros y una cocina. También encontrarás equipo de pesca y comodidades de primera clase en esta belleza – desde outriggers y downriggers hasta una silla de combate, tanque para carnada viva y neveras.
El Back Down 2 es perfecto tanto para expediciones nocturnas de Marlin y Atún como para excursiones diurnas familiares. Dependiendo de tus preferencias y las especies objetivo, el Capitán Phillip Blackburn puede llevarte desde 15 hasta 160 millas mar adentro. En el menú encontrarás muchas especies interesantes, como Sailfish, Marlin, Tuna, Swordfish, Mahi, Red Snapper, Cobia, Kingfish, y muchas otras.

Captain Phillip and Jason did a great job handling our group of 7. Everyone caught multiple fish and we almost caught our daily limit of Red Snapper. Everyone in our party had a great experience and we would definitely recommend booking your charter with Captain Phillip and Backdown 2.

We had a great time fishing on the Back Down 2! We had 7 family members ranging from 4years old to 72 and everyone had a great time! While we didnt catch anything we could keep (im sure this is common in the off season), we did catch over 60 fish and our kids were thrilled with the day which was our main focus. A wildlife biologist joined our trip to tag fish and that was another cool aspect. He and the first mate were very knowledgeable and helpful. We have a very chatty 7 year old with lots of questions and they both took time to talk with him and answer questions. We hope to visit Destin again in the future and would definitely book this same charter to fish again.

Captain Phillip and Chris were absolutely amazing! We’re a family of seven, including two sons with autism, and they went above and beyond to accommodate our entire crew. The Back Down 2 was perfect—spacious, clean, and comfortable. The air-conditioned cabin was a lifesaver, giving us a great place to take breaks and cool down. Even though the water was a bit rough that day, we made the best of it and had a blast. Chris was incredible with our boys—patient, kind, and endlessly helpful. He took the time to teach them how to fish, constantly re-baiting their lines so they could keep having fun without missing a beat. A few of the kids got a little seasick, but thanks to some Dramamine and the relaxed atmosphere, they bounced back quickly. One of our sons, who’s very expressive, kept yelling, “Help! I got another one!” every time he caught a fish. Chris laughed and said, “I wish I had as much fun fishing as this kid!” It was a moment we’ll never forget. By the end of the day, we had caught 70 fish—yes, SEVENTY! It was an unforgettable adventure, and we can’t recommend the Back Down 2 enough for families, especially those with kids or special needs. A truly top-notch experience!

Only went for a 6 hour trip and these guys didnt disappoint! We got on some good snapper, mahi, and even picked up a nice Cobia! Jason, the deckhand , was exceptional and was a key player in helping land the big Cobia. I highly recommend these guys!

We had an absolute blast on our 5hr bottom fishing trip (afternoon)! Caught a ton of Vermillion Snapper (great fish tacos), a few Red Snapper, Red Grouper, Bonita, Trigger Fish, and a couple others. Captain Phillip did a great job of putting us on the fish and moving when necessary to avoid the trash fish. Between me and 6 high school boys, we had multiple fish on the line at all times. Our deckhand (Brian) killed it all afternoon and stayed long after all the other deckhands to filet a massive amount of fish. Would highly recommend! -Ty (Dallas, TX)
