Conoce la belleza y variedad de la vida marina de Belice con el Capitán Nato. El Capitán Nathaniel (Nato) Verde tiene más de 20 años de experiencia como guía de pesca y también es nativo de la comunidad pesquera más grande de Belice. Te llevará a pescar en la zona norte de la isla y parte central de Belice, que incluye lagunas interiores, ríos, arrecifes y planicies vadeables.

El Capitán Nato te llevará a pescar en su embarcación de planicies de 24 pies, construida recientemente en 2017. Hay suficiente espacio para que 2 invitados pesquen con comodidad. La embarcación está propulsada por un motor Yamaha de 70 HP, con una velocidad máxima de crucero de 35 nudos. También cuenta con una plataforma de poling, neveras y un tanque para carnada viva.

Puedes pescar en las planicies de agua salada buscando Tarpón, Permit y Bonefish, en zonas de interior para Robalo, o ir al segundo arrecife de barrera más grande del mundo para capturar Pargo, Jurel y Barracuda. Puedes practicar pesca con señuelo o pesca con mosca, solo informa al capitán con anticipación para verificar si puede proporcionar el equipo de pesca.

El viaje también incluye equipo de snorkel bajo petición, almuerzo, agua y otras bebidas sin alcohol. Después del viaje, limpiará y fileteará tu captura. Lo único que necesitas preparar con anticipación es tu licencia de pesca.

His years of experience really show, and his knowledge of the water is exceptional. What stood out even more was his passion—it’s clear he genuinely loves what he does, and that energy made the entire experience even better.
Thank you, Captain Nato, for an unforgettable day on the water. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a top-tier fishing guide!

Professional Flats Guide

Half day trip fly fishing or spinfi el marzo 26, 2026 • 1 adulto

Went out with Capt Nato and his son for 1/2 day of flats fishing.  My saltwater fly casting technique was a little rusty but Capt Nato was a great instructor and I soon had my ‘double haul’ working again.  Great fly rods, reels, and flies along with an asortment of spinning  gear.  Boat was well organized and comfortable.  Although the weather did not cooperate with rain and wind most of the morning, the Capt found and put us on several schools of bonefish based on his extensive knowledge of the waters surrounding Ambergris Caye.  I will definitely go out with him again when back in Belize.  

If you are looking for a professional flats fishing guide who will coach you to make you better, Capt Nato is your guy.

I had an amazing day out with Captain Nato, which also happened to be my first time on the flats! The guidance was excellent, I was put into a school of a thousand Bones within 20 minutes of leaving port. Listen to any advice he gives you and genuinely be curious, ask the questions you want to know as he is passionate about where he lives and what he gets to do.
Thanks Nato, I’ll be back for sure!

My favourite fishing guide experience in Belize

Capt. Nato creates a great atmosphere on the boat and someone you can easily spend alot of time with.

Give him time and you will realise how much he knows about the local environment and the fish behaviours. A true master. 

Nato helped me significantly improve my fly cast. He’s a good coach and supportive. He’s worked at some of the well known fishing lodges so perhaps from this. 

My favourite of the few guides i’ve spent time with. Thank you Nato i hope to be back

i’ve been on probably 20-30 charters and I’m not sure I’ve ever come across a Captain as passionate and willing to do whatever it takes to put his clients on the fish more than Captain Nato.   Just a great guy, hilarious and extremely knowledgeable.   We’ll see ya when we come back next year Nato.  God Bless!!
