Operando desde Victoria, Canadá, Rodfather Fishing and Outdoor Adventures te invita a un emocionante día de pesca. Son una empresa local con guías experimentados que han estado pescando en las aguas del sur de la Isla de Vancouver durante más de una década. Tu capitán te llevará a explorar estas abundantes aguas y hará todo lo posible para que consigas la captura de tu vida. Podrás probar suerte en la costa, cerca de la costa y mar adentro mientras buscas Salmón, Halibut y Lingcod. Armado con equipos ligeros y pesados, podrás probar diversas técnicas, incluyendo pesca de fondo, curricán y jigging.

Toda esta acción tendrá lugar a bordo de un barco Wellcraft classic de 21 pies que puede acomodar hasta 3 pescadores con total comodidad. Esta belleza clásica está impulsada por un motor Yamaha de 150 HP y cuenta con electrónica marina y equipo de seguridad de primera línea. A bordo también encontrarás downriggers y una nevera.

El chárter incluye el uso de equipos de pesca y señuelos de última generación. El ayudante limpiará gustosamente la captura después del viaje, por lo que las propinas por sus esfuerzos son más que bienvenidas. Asegúrate de obtener una licencia de pesca válida antes del viaje, así como cualquier alimento y bebida que te gustaría tener.

Winner Winner Fish Dinner!!

Voyage started off with fantastic weather and calm seas. First fish on within 5min, barely enough time to wipe the sleep from my eyes. The trip was sprinkled with copious amounts of education, continuous bites and lots of laughs. Jay and Bruce have a respect for mother ocean and are more than courteous stewards. At the dock they spent time to teach us how to gut, clean and secure our catch for travel back to WA. Caught 5 fish out of our 6 limit. Would recommend for any seasoned and/or beginner fisherman. Hey Bruce stay out of the drink and Mr. Googly eyes keep telling your clever one liners. We shall be back!! See you soon…Christopher and Laurie

An amazing day fishing

We had an amazing day fishing with Jay and Bruce. These guys are not only knowledgeable, but they’re very entertaining as well. They definitely put us on fish, and we even brought home a few crabs as well. It was a fun morning that we will never forget. I highly recommend These two guys if you’re looking for a relaxed, but entertaining day out on the water.

Great Day on the Water

Jay and Bruce had us on Chinook Salmon all morning. Went out as a hobby fisher with my girlfriend who is a total novice, and the rod fathers still made sure we were both comfortable and had an awesome time. Two hilarious guys who clearly know the waters around Victoria - I couldn’t recommend fishing with them more.

Nice Hosts, Beautiful Setting—But missed opportunities left us disappointed

We recently went on a fishing trip on Vancouver Island with Jay and Bruce, who were truly great guys—friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do. The atmosphere on the boat felt authentic and relaxed, which made for an enjoyable end to the day.
We only caught three fish, which honestly was a bit underwhelming, though we understand that’s just the nature of fishing sometimes. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to keep them since we were returning to Switzerland, which was disappointing, but fair enough.
What really left us feeling let down was learning after the trip that the group the day prior had barbecued their catches right on the boat—a detail that was never offered to us or even mentioned. Had we known, this could have turned a good experience into a truly memorable one. It felt like a missed opportunity and made the outing seem less personal or complete compared to what others had apparently received.
All told, the trip felt a bit expensive for what we got, especially considering the limited fish, no cooking option, and the afterthought feeling when comparing to the experience others had.
That said, Jay and Bruce were lovely and the setting of Vancouver Island is stunning. With just a bit better communication, this could have been a standout moment from our trip.

Hi Sandrine. Thanks for the feedback. Sorry your trip was not what was expected.  You did fail to mention, however, that you were over an hour late. That coupled with the fact that your husband was seasick really did not make bbq an option as we were only out for a limited time. 3 fish in that short time (not counting the few that were lost) was actually some pretty decent fishing.
