Aqua Fishing Charters 

If you’re in the Algarve and want some proper reef fishing, you’ve got to book with Áqua. I’ve done a few charters before, but this was easily the highlight of my trip. The energy was great from the start and, more importantly, we actually caught fish! Captain Josué really knows his stuff. He took us straight to the best spots and we were getting bites all day. I managed to land a massive 4kg pargo which was the highlight, but we had plenty of other quality catches too. Josué keeps it fun, relaxed, and knows exactly how to find the fish. We had a great experience with Josue since I contacted him, and even before the reservation. I reached out asking about certain big-game-fish and expressing my interest, Josue was very especific since the beginning about what fish was possible to find and which we would not find (what I was looking for was out of reach). The fact that he said he could not take me to fish what I wanted because it was not the season for it, to me was a sign of both trust and knowledge. This made me ask about what type of fish was available in the season I would be in town for, and since it was our first time, we booked a three-person fishing trip for a Sunday morning. He was incredibly responsive by the app, then, in-person him and his son were kind, fun, knowledgeable, patient, and we had a great time. We will be coming back in July to catch the type of fish I was originally looking for. The trip was personal, private, genuine, easy, and fun. I highly recommend them!

If you are looking for the best fishing experience in the Algarve, look no further than this. My son and I just spent five hours out on the water with the captain and his son William, and it was hands down one of the best days of our entire holiday. From the moment we stepped on board, the atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and completely professional. Both English was outstanding - clear, friendly, and genuinely engaging throughout the whole trip. We never felt lost or left out for a single moment. Now for the numbers: 81 fish in five hours. Yes, really. I would not have believed it myself if I had not been there pulling them in alongside my son. But what truly set this experience apart was the passion these guys bring to what they do. For every single species we caught, he gave us recipes - actual, practical cooking tips on how to prepare each fish properly. That kind of knowledge and enthusiasm is rare and made the whole trip feel like so much more than just fishing. Highest possible recommendation.

From the first drop, we were straight into fish and it didn’t stop. It was honestly a lot of fun the whole time. Captain Josué clearly knows exactly where to go and how to keep you on them. As filled three boxes by the end, which says everything about the consistency and experience. You’re not just catching fish, you’re learning throughout the trip without even realizing it. If you’re thinking about it, just book it.You won´t find better.

¡Una excursión maravillosa en el mar, perfectamente organizada de principio a fin! El capitán y la tripulación fueron increíblemente amables, atentos y muy profesionales. Desde el momento en que zarpamos, nos sentimos bienvenidos, y durante toda la excursión hubo un ambiente relajado y amigable. Lo que merece una mención especial es la gran honestidad y justicia del capitán: como el agua estaba demasiado fría para la pesca mayor ese día, no nos llevó de todas formas, sino que cambió el tour con poca antelación. En lugar de arriesgarse o vendernos una excursión vacía, puso el bienestar de sus huéspedes primero, algo que es raro encontrar hoy en día y que genera una gran confianza. Esto convirtió la excursión en una experiencia de pesca variada donde pudimos capturar diferentes especies. La tripulación siempre fue servicial, ya fuera recogiendo las líneas, quitando anzuelos o explicando los tipos de peces, e incluso nos dieron consejos sobre cómo prepararlos para que pudiéramos disfrutar de nuestra captura más tarde. La calma del agua, la inmensidad del mar y la naturaleza honesta y sencilla de todo el equipo hicieron que este día fuera verdaderamente especial. Conclusión: Altamente recomendado: honestidad absoluta, planificación flexible, hospitalidad cálida y un día inolvidable con una tripulación en la que realmente puedes confiar.
