Hemingway Fishing Adventures 

I rarely post reviews but this one is a must. Capt Vince and Capt Samdro knocked it out of the park for me and my family. He took myself, my wife, and two daughters out on the gulf today. I obviously had nothing but high expectations and each and every one was fulfilled. In just a short boat ride, we were instantly catching fish. Both captains were very helpful, and after a short “how to” my 10 year old daughter hooked up first lol. We continued catching and catching and when the bite slowed down we moved, and each time the bite slowed we moved.Most captains will stay put to save fuel, but not Vince. The boat was absolutely gorgeous, and the tackle was flawless. Every time there was a hook without bait, Vince and Samdro gladly rebaited them without hesitation. These two worked their tails off to get us fish non stop, leaving us without disappointment. At the end of the day, we ended up catching at least 10 different species and Vince filleted the keepers and not having a way to cook our catch Vince recommended a local restaurant that cooked them 5 different ways for us. I highly recommend Capt Vince and Capt Samdro, we will definitely fish with them again!!

Captain Vince took us out to some great spots, we didn’t waste any time and started catching and releasing beautiful fish right away. Most beautiful of the day was definitely the hogfish! Vince was super helpful in teaching the two less experienced fishers some good skills for offshore/nearshore fishing. We didn’t go home with anything large enough to eat but we went home with nice memories and newfound confidence! Would definitely consider going further offshore with Vince in the future.

1st trip was rained out but we were able to go at sunrise the next morning. Caught about 7 different types of fish and about 24 in total. The high-light was snagging a shark, unfortunately it snapped the line🤭. Captain was super chill and very helpful. The tide was low so we couldn’t make it back into the marina due to sandbars. So we were dropped off at the beach which added to the excitement of the adventure. Thank You for the fun adventure!

I purchased the half day offshore trip as a birthday gift for my husband. Typically, I avoid fishing trips because I never catch anything but after our trip with captain Vince I look forward to our next trip! We went offshore and immediately began catching fish. Captain Vince really went out of his way to ensure we were set up and in the best position to have a successful day. Being that I am a beginner he spent a lot of time with me showing me the techniques I need to succeed. He was very patient and coached me on how to successfully reel in. My husband had a great time and even caught some amazing fish and shark we ended up sending back. I am proud to say that I brought my first TWO Mangrove Snapper home, which were delicious. I highly recommend Captain Vince to anyone who is looking to have a nice day on the water and bring home dinner. He was knowledgeable, flexible, patient and accommodating. His top priority was ensuring we had a great time and accomplished what we set out to do. In my case my goal was just to catch a fish and I ended up catching 8! We will most definitely be going out with Captain Vince again but this time we will do the full day trip!

Had a great day with Captain Hemingway. He was personable and knowledgeable of the local spots. Mostly importantly no BS. If we wanted a fish that wasn’t in season/available for our time slot he let us know immediately rather than trying it and leaving with nothing. Even made some great fish tacos out of the snapper/mackerel we caught. Will definitely be booking again.

Had a great trip with Captain Vince. Under tough weather conditions, we caught a great deal of fish - snook, snapper, blue runners, Spanish Mackerel and Goliath Grouper. The Capt was very knowledgeable of the top spots in the area and worked very hard to make it a very enjoyable trip for our group. Would highly recommend this charter service. 5 Stars!

Vincent was awesome. He was super knowledgeable and friendly. He sure knows those back waters, too. He’d take us to very specific spots and say “cast over there, about 10 feet from shore, near that tree” and sure enough, BOOM! Fish on! We caught over 12 fish of various species and it was considered “bad fishing conditions” due to barometric pressure and wind. Even on a “bad” day, we still crushed it and had a blast because Vincent knows his stuff. Highly recommend him and we’ll definitely be back!

Had the best time with captain Forrest. We caught somewhere around 15 different species of fish. He kept the fish on the whole three hours we were out. I would definitely recommend him. He was great around the boat making sure we had bait on and taking the fish off the hooks Will go again.

After going thru many reviews. I found captain Vincent was the perfect guide for us and, It didn’t disappointed us. Hemmingway’s was very knowledgeable and very patience with my two kids. He took us to the perfect spots on a very beautiful day, we ended up learning good techniques for catching varíes type of fish. I do really recommend captain Vincent Hemmingway either if you are a novice or experienced Fisher. We’ll be back for sure.
