Comenzará su viaje en un barco Hanson de consola central de 23 pies con espacio suficiente para un máximo de 5 pescadores. Tiene una manga muy ancha que lo convierte en una plataforma muy estable mientras pesca. Este barco tiene una torre que es un gran beneficio para la pesca visual. También está equipado con un motor de curricán y un power pole, esencial para la pesca costera. Cuenta con sistemas modernos de navegación, comunicación y localización de peces, cuenta con una nevera y está equipado con grandes viveros.
El Capitán Mike lo llevará a los puentes y áreas costeras donde puede buscar pargos, meros, tiburones, sábalos, truchas y cobias. Al capitán le encanta enseñar a los niños y son más que bienvenidos a bordo.
Todo lo que necesitará para pescar estará a bordo. Esto incluye cañas, carretes, aparejos terminales, así como señuelos y cebo vivo. Cuando termine el viaje, el capitán limpiará y fileteará su captura sin cargo adicional. Las licencias también están incluidas, así que solo necesita llevar algo de comida y bebidas.

We were a little concerned when we got to the boat because Capt. Mike said that, due to weather, fishing had been off for the past couple of days. But, with Mike's great local knowledge and superb boat handling, he put us right on our tarpon targets as soon as we reached the fishing grounds. The result: three for three on tarpon in the 40, 70, and 100+ pound categories plus a 100+ pound black tip shark as a bonus. Mike has a mate/trainee, Sarah, who was just plain great. Her very knowledgeable coaching and enthusiastic encouragement made fighting these big fish easy for us novices very enjoyable. We would book with Mike and Sarah in a heartbeat.
Absolutely Incredible Experience — Book This Trip! I can’t say enough great things about Jersey Key Charters. From the moment we stepped on board, everything was top-notch. The captain was incredibly knowledgeable — clearly knows these waters inside and out — and made me and my son feel welcome. The boat was clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a full day on the water. And the scenery? Stunning. The Florida Keys never disappoint, and seeing them from the water is something else entirely. But the real highlight? We absolutely hammered the fish. Came home with a fantastic catch and memories that’ll last a long time. The captain put us right on the fish and kept us productive all day long. Highly, highly recommend. Will be back!
My son and I just got back from an incredible trip with Captain Mike, and I can't recommend him enough. We were looking to land some big fish, and Mike delivered an unforgettable experience. He knows these waters inside and out and is a great captain—patient, professional, and determined to get us on the fish. Watching my son hook into multiple tarpon was the highlight of our vacation. If you’re looking for a top-tier charter that's great for families and serious anglers alike, Mike is your guy.
We had the pleasure of spending a morning fishing with Mike. He took us to several spots. Fish were a bit fickle but we caught some snapper for dinner. Mike is a guy who gets just as excited as his guests when the fish are hitting the bait. He was happy to answer all our questions concerning gear, technique and tactics since fishing here is very different from catching salmon or Walleye in Wisconsin! Highly recommend scheduling a session with him.
Captain Michael was great. Everything was managed well, from the bait to primary, secondary and a few more fishing spots. We were wishing to land a Tarpon and he put us in the spot as we had numerous opportunities but all they did was play with the bait…. Sounds like others shared similar experiences that day! He did help us tie into a good fighting shark along with a Barracuda.
