Wet Lines Fishing 2 

My son and I had a blast. Zach did a heck of a job getting us to areas of fish. We both caught several fish. We targeted fish we could eat for a meal or 2 and then tried our luck at catching some reds. My son caught 1 and he had a grin that said it all.

We read all kinds of reviews before booking a fishing charter and decided to go with WetLines. They did not disappoint! Captain Kyle got in touch with us the day before and went over what we were hoping to catch. We had a great day fishing even though we didn’t catch as many as captain Kyle was hoping for, we were happy with what we caught. He took us to quite a few spots to hit all the different fish my son wanted to try to catch. He was a super nice guy and very personable. When we got back to the dock he cleaned and bagged up our fish. I would definitely rebook with WetLines the next time we come down.

Where to begin. The owner. We were contacted by the owner and he talked with us about the weather the day we had originally booked the trip. It was cold, windy and just not ideal conditions. He worked with us and got us on a day and time he knew we would get into fish. So friendly and helpful! I have used other guide services and never have I had one this concerned for our trip and our experience. Most might have just taken the booked date and the money and gone on with life. Not this company. Not Wet Lines. They hooked us up! Literally and figuratively. They also talked to us about our expectations and goals. Explained to him what we wanted and WOW did they come through for us! The captain!! We met Captain Kyle and set out and it was none stop action. We piled the fish into the boat and filled the cooler until we couldn’t hardly fit anymore. I had told him what fish I wanted to target and he got us on them! Smoked a few of the target fish after we had already piled the cooler full then we took off to a new spot and got on some trophy redfish! It was like taking candy from a baby, WHAM! One after another we set the hook on some wild fighting redfish. There was one downside…. The trip ended early. Why? We ran out of bait!! Now, you might say this means they were unprepared. Nope! It was simply because we had caught sooooo many fish, we literally ran the boat out of bait before our time. That’s how incredible the fishing was. They cleaned the fish for us and sent us to a nearby restaurant that was also incredible and we ate the days catch until we could eat no more. 10 out of 5 stars. Book this outfit. You will not be disappointed. You will head home with tons of fish and tons of incredible memories. Seriously. I have been on several trips out on the water with several different outfits. These guys are so personable and friendly. Can’t say enough about these guys. Thanks again for the trip Wet Lines.

Booked a 4 hour trip for my boyfriends birthday. Capt Kyle took us out and made sure we had a great time. We started the day catching many Mangrove Snappers and tiny baby Grouper which were fun to catch. After we headed in shore to a calm and quiet spot to go after different species and my boyfriend ended up catching a Tarpon! We were told that’s pretty unheard of in the middle of August. That was definitely the highlight of the trip! These things sore out of the water and the fight is fun which made it pretty exciting. The conditions were perfect we really lucked out. As we hopped around to a bunch of different spots Kyle shared fun facts about the little islands, and beautiful homes off the beach. Kyle was so fun, funny, easy to talk to, patient, and encouraging. He gave us great tips and tricks for future. A bonus for us was the solid music selection going the whole time which obviously made it more fun. Last stop of the day I caught a nice red fish. Kyle cleaned and bagged our fish on ice and suggested we take it right down the street to a restaurant to cook it for us! This company is run great! Both Zach and Kyle are awesome guys who really love what they do and truly care about their people. Their bait and tackle store is sweet too! We can’t wait to go back for another trip in the fall when it’s a better time for bigger bites! 100% recommend. Also, side note - they have 2 boats i believe we were on their 22 Aqua sport, center console, that provided us shade and a tone of room. Loved it. SOO nice, fast, and handled nice!
