El Capitán Martin Carranza ha estado practicando la pesca con mosca toda su vida, desde sus primeros días persiguiendo grandes Truchas en la Patagonia, Argentina, hasta los productivos bajos con hierba del sur de Florida, donde ha estado pescando desde 2001. En la actualidad, el Capitán Martin se especializa en llevar a sus clientes a los mejores lugares de pesca que se pueden encontrar en Key Biscayne y más allá.
Su guía opera un bote para bajos Beavertail Strike de 18', impulsado por un motor Suzuki de 60 HP, que lo llevará a los mejores lugares de pesca de manera rápida y segura. Hasta 2 personas pueden subir a bordo y pescar con total comodidad. La embarcación cuenta con un motor eléctrico Minn Kota y está equipada con una selección de equipos de navegación de calidad que le ayudarán a mantenerse en el rastro de su presa.
Pescar con Martin significa que no tiene que preocuparse por traer sus propias cañas y carretes, él ya tiene todo lo que necesita a bordo. Ya sea equipo de pesca con mosca de calidad o aparejos convencionales, su capitán tiene todo cubierto. Si prefiere usar cebo vivo, capturará camarones, lisas o sardinas en su camino hacia los lugares de pesca.

This man knows how to find and catch bonefish. First time trying to catch them and we caught some great fish.

Did a 3/4 day fly fishing trip in Biscayne Bay with Martin in late January. Had a fabulous and productive trip. Martin is easy to work with, patient with less than par casting skills and helpful with advice and teaching. He is tenacious about finding fish: I had a great day, catching baby tarpon and snook, but the bones were nowhere to be seen, largely a function of cooler and cloudy water. Martin is interesting to talk to and fun to spend a day in a skiff with. I will definitely book again.
I had a great time on this trip. We got on some bonefish early and then made a long run (despite current gas prices) to go after tarpon and bonefish. I had only fished with a guide one other time and that experience consisted of the guide forcing me to reel with my opposite hand because of the theory that it would be a few milliseconds faster, which totally threw off my casting and only allowed me to fish for 100+ pound tarpon and would not allow me to cast to smaller fish rolling all around us even if I wanted to. This trip was the complete opposite experience. Captain Martin made sure we gave it our best shot and tailored the trip based on our previous email exchange. I definitely blew a bunch of shots at tarpon, but the Captain took some time out to correct some of my casting mistakes and then we kept at it and brought 5 bonefish to the boat. I am definitely hooked on bonefish now and will go home with some lessons to apply for next time.
Martin did a great job, even with strong wind, pushing us on the flats looking for Bonefish. He was patient and a great coach with a novice ocean fly fisherman. I would highly recommend Martin. Great fisherman and even better human being! Thanks for the great time!
