Jersey Boy Charters – 45’ 

Jersey Boy Carters…. above and beyond expectations! If you are looking for a honest, hard working charter boat Captain look no further than the Improvise. We met Capt. Adrian at the JB’s slip, returning from a morning fishing trip. He was very upfront that it was not a good morning of fishing, and if we wanted to cancel, he’d totally understand.Talk about honesty! Not many fishing charter boat captains would be that upfront knowing he’d be out of several hundreds of dollars if we did. We were already at the dock and wanted to fish, so we asked what our options were? There were 3. Fish the back bay drifting for flounder, which the unsuccessful morning group did. Go offshore trolling for Mahi and drift for Sea Bass. Do a shark trip. After a short group meeting and careful review of expendable funds, we decided to give the Mahi and Sea Bass a shot. We knew going offshore would greatly reduce our fishing time and come at a higher cost, but hey, who doesn’t like a boat ride?? The boat is very clean and lots of moving around space. The mate for the trip was a friendly young buck named Will, who was frantically rigging lines, leaders and prepping bait, and Two hours out, we hit the fishing grounds. The outriggers went out and let the games begin! The Mahi were there and biting, but reluctant to commit. We managed to put a couple in the box and also some decent Sea bass. Captain Adrian asked if we had any plans we needed to get back to the dock for, We said “not really”, So we stayed out an extra hour! These guys worked very hard to get us fish onboard and had fun doing it. We will DEFINITELY be back! THANK YOU Adrian & Will! Capt. John put us on the good fishing structure we had plenty of action. I was impressed with the boat its the perfect fishing platform and the fishing gear onboard was perfect for our target fish. We had a great day and lasting memories.

Had an awesome time with Chris he is very knowledgeable and passionate about fishing. My girls just wanted to catch some shark and Chris delivered in a big way immediately we were fortunate to hook 3 large shark and the girls got the experience they were looking for. Boat and equipment top of the line would go again with this charter in a heartbeat.

Adrian was an awesome guide and a bonafide fishing expert. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience and our fishing trip exceeded our expectations with the great conversation and multiple catches. Anytime we plan another fishing trip, we will definitely try to go out with Adrian again!

We had a blast, caught over 20 fish, the Captain and mate did an awesome job cleaning them and we're having a family fish fry tonight!
