A fun family trip, caught some smaller fish but the bites this time werent the best. Captain was great teaching us different methods of fishing, and was great with the kids. He did everything possible to find spots with action from nearshore to inshore. We had a good time, the boat ride through the marshes and into the ocean were super fun. Bring sunscreen and some waters, a hat, and a long sleeve fishing type shirt, it gets warm out there if youre used to colder water fishing and its easy to forget to reapply sunscreen. Ask the captain for dinner recommendations in the area, it was the best meal weve had all week.
Great experience! My father-in-law and I were looking for a day out fishing. Robert was great and incredibly knowledgeable. We caught 6 different species of fish (multiple of each including a 28in redfish). Won’t hesitate to rebook when we’re back in town!
For those that have taken charters before, you know it can be hit and miss. You cannot make the big fish bite. But, when you have kids, it’s important to keep them interested. That’s what was so good with fish finders. We tried to catch big fish ( had a shark on) but they made sure we went to a spot that my son could catch tons of fish (even though they were on smaller side). Even though they were smaller they fought really good. The crew was really nice and helpful. They were really honest on expectations as well.
Fish Finder will always be our pick in the Myrtle Beach area. Captain Robert had us on fish as soon as we started fishing which worked out well as we had an illness on board with one of our people and he did and awesome job if handling that. We caught plenty of fish in an hour. Fish Finder is my people when I’m in the Myrtle Beach area. I would highly recommend!!
Had an awesome time catching fish! Learned a lot in the process as well. Caught some sheepshead, black drum, and a lot of sea bass. Captain Robert was a lot of fun and clearly knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. It was an amazing experience and I’ll definitely be booking again with him in the near future. Thanks for a great time!
