El Stormy Petrel II del Capitán Brian Patteson es la única embarcación de pesca en Hatteras que está certificada por la USCG para transportar legalmente más de 6 pasajeros de pago y que ofrece regularmente charters de pesca privados. ¡Como tal, puedes traer a toda tu familia para disfrutar de una maravillosa aventura de pesca en los Outer Banks!
El Stormy Petrel II es un diseño walk-around de 56', una embarcación estable con mucho más espacio en cubierta que la mayoría de las embarcaciones de pesca charter. Como tal, tienes una gran ventaja cuando se trata de pesca de fondo ya que podemos pescar fácilmente una docena de cañas o más desde un lado de la embarcación. Su manga de 16' también significa más espacio en la popa para el curricán, lo cual es agradable cuando un cardumen de Dorado Mahi Mahi aparece detrás de la embarcación. También hay una espaciosa cubierta superior donde los huéspedes pueden tomar un descanso o subir y ayudar a avistar peces. El Capitán Brian limita las excursiones de altura a 12 pasajeros y las excursiones costeras a 20 pasajeros para que podamos proporcionar mucho espacio y minimizar los sedales enredados.
Los motores diésel gemelos Cummins QSC 8.3 litros de 500 HP de la embarcación fueron instalados en 2017 y proporcionan una velocidad de crucero cómoda de 16 a 18 nudos, con más potencia en reserva en caso de que la necesitemos. La inyección de combustible common rail permite motores de combustión limpia con muy pocos humos.

Ofrecemos tres tipos de excursiones. Nuestras excursiones de altura son estrictamente charters privados de 10 a 11 horas y van a la Corriente del Golfo. En estas excursiones, tanto la pesca de fondo como el curricán en superficie pueden ser productivos dependiendo de las condiciones. Nuestras excursiones costeras de 4 horas van a las aguas oceánicas justo frente a la playa y/o en el estrecho dependiendo de las condiciones del mar. En la mayoría de estas excursiones, estarás haciendo curricán con cucharillas pequeñas para Anjova y Caballa del Atlántico. Las excursiones de 6 horas visitan algunos naufragios y fondos vivos a varias millas de la costa y ofrecen oportunidades de capturar peces más grandes y más variedad.

We had a fantastic experience fishing out of Hatteras aboard the Stormy Petrel II with Capt. Brian and first mate Danny. They did an incredible job taking care of our large group and made the whole trip smooth, fun, and stress-free. The boat itself was sturdy, clean, and very well maintained — we felt comfortable the entire time. Even being early in the season, they put us right on the fish. We caught plenty of bluefish and had a blast doing it! Danny was great about helping everyone out, keeping lines in the water, and making sure we were all having a good time. You can really tell they know what they’re doing and take pride in giving people a great experience. Highly recommend — we’d absolutely book with them again!
had a great day captain and mate had us on fish practically all day on 6hr trip caught amber jack cobia afew other types we took home only what we would be able to use .we took 80lbs of fish but caught much more and released my crew of 7 had a great time and are already talking about the next time. thanks for a awesome time of memories!!!!!
our party of nine saltwater-inexperienced fisherman enjoyed a wonderful fishing excursion, 4 hour inshore. Captain Brian and first mate Danny were very personable and worked very well with with us, especially with the children. They are very good at what they do. we asked for spanish mackerel and they delivered.
We had 10 guys on this trip. Captain Brian and first mate Danny were excellent. We caught our snapper limit in the first 2-3 hours of being on the water. Their help was great. We caught Red Sapper, Wahoo, Kobia, zamber Jack, and Mahi Mahi. The only feedback I would give is the morning debrief on how to use the rods was hard to hear over the roar of the engine so most of our group had to learn on the fly while we were fishing. All in all a great successful trip!
Thanks for fishing with us Lee. I’m glad you enjoyed the trip. We are only allowed to harvest the Red Snappers a couple of days each year, so you definitely picked the right day!
After doubtful weather forecasts this turned out to be one of the best fishing charters we’ve had. Captain Brian and First Mate Danny were great hosts! On top of their professionalism we pulled in King Mackerel, Bluefish, and Seabass. We’re now planning a return later in the season.
