SWFL Fishing Charters 

Overall, our entire experience with Southwest Shorelines exceeded our expectations. From the planning stage, communications with Capt Matt (before during, and throughout), cleanliness of his boat, quality of gear and bait, to being on time and getting us on the tarpon, there’s not much more we can say. He and his first mate Colin were consistently attentive throughout the several days we fished together. We connected with 12 fish and landed 6, the largest estimated to be 160 lbs. We even had the opportunity to experience a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launch on one of our early morning trips. Appreciate all of the memories with my son, it would not be the same without Capt Matt!

Captain Matthew put us on the fish all day. We caught a great Snook on our very first cast and it never stopped! What a day!! We all highly recommend a trip with Captain Matthew. We ended up canceling with another boat to get another day with Captain Matthew! Thanks again!

My wife and I took a quick morning trip with Captain Matt. He was very patient and we were able to boat a number of fish. My wife caught a snook and I got a number of really big speckled trout.

Really a fantastic day, started out catching some 35 to 40 pound black drum, if you wanna tug on your line, that’ll do it! Spent some time pitch and shiners for snook caught a bonus flounder and some trout also. Look for Tarpon but they’re not quite in yet will be booking again with him.

Captain Matthew is first class! He will put you on fish, then you have to do your part. We spent 10 hours with Captain Matt over two days, he was great with my family and helped us make solid memories on our first inshore fishing trip. Captain Matthew is a great guy, very knowledgeable and someone I highly recommend for your next fishing adventure! We will definitely go out with Captain Matthew again!

Capt was organized, professional, friendly, and had several spots planned out for our day. We caught fish at every location and got into some serious quantity and quality in the back half of the trip, including that beautiful hog in the picture. Snook, reds, big jacks, trout and of course a few cats. Great day, would definitely recommend

Captain Matt met us at Fisherman’s Village and we were fighting with 55-pound fish within thirty minutes. Wonderful hard working young man who knows the area intimately. I look forward to another adventure next time I’m back in Florida. Thanks Matt!!!

Captain Matt is the best!! He is knowledgeable of the area, types of fish and everything you need to know to feel like a pro! We caught so many fish! And had a great time! Can’t wait for our next trip!
