Realizando salidas mar adentro
desde Manteo, NC, Citation SportFishing le invita a acompañarnos para disfrutar de un día en el agua.

El Capitán Gerrad busca adaptar cada excursión a sus necesidades específicas, ¡así que hágale saber lo que está buscando! Dependiendo del viaje y las especies, utilizará técnicas como pesca de fondo, curricán, pesca con cometa, popping y spinning. Las salidas duran entre 10 y 12 horas, donde normalmente irá tras especies como Dorado, Marlin, Peto, Pez Vela, Atún y Blanquillo, dependiendo del clima y la época del año.

Pescará desde una embarcación Island Boatworks de 57 pies con espacio suficiente para hasta 6 pescadores a la vez. También cuenta con baño, aire acondicionado, nevera y silla de combate. La tripulación trabaja muy duro para ayudar a sus clientes a capturar el pez de su vida y hacer que el día sea la experiencia más memorable posible, así que por favor recuerde dar propina a su ayudante al final del viaje. Es costumbre dar entre un 15-20% de propina.

El precio de su excursión incluye todas las cañas, carretes y aparejos terminales que necesitará para un día productivo en el agua. Su viaje incluirá todas las licencias de pesca necesarias para el día. Puede quedarse con todo lo que capture, siempre y cuando sea legal hacerlo.

Awesome day on the Citation!

Capt. Otto put us on the fish!  The Citation was very spacious, clean, well equipped and very comfortable.  It had a large bathroom, great A/C, and comfortable seating inside and outside.  The boat has tremendous horsepower and got us to the fishing grounds faster than any other boat that went out that day.  I got the fish of the lifetime on the trip.  Eli, the first mate, worked tireless on our behalf!  Thanks again for a great family experience!

Fantastic Day

We had a great time with the Citation Captain and Crew.  We were successful in catching more Mahi than we thought possible in one day and we were a group on newbies to charter fishing.  The Captain and Crew worked tirelessly to give us the best fishing experience and knew what they were doing, coaching us along the way.  It was a fantastic day and memories for the family we'll talk about for years to come.

2025 fishing trip

First time trip for me and man what an awesome experience. Caught our limit on mahi as well as four citation white marlin. I would definitely recommend the citation. Eli was the best mate and on top of it all day. The captain put us in the right spots to catch fish. The boat was well maintained and had everything you would need for a full day of fishing.

Catching Citations on the Citation!

We have booked a couple trips with Captain Gerrad on the Citation! Awesome experience! Took us “grocery shopping” to start because we want to bring home something to cook and also took us for the bigger fish experience, all in a day’s trip each time! Gerrad and his Mate Alex are very professional and know what they are doing! The boat is really nice as well! It’s all top notch! Book your trip! You’ll be catching Citations on the Citation! (We did!!) ?

Over the span of almost twenty years, I have been on over a dozen fishing excursions with Gerrod in different capacities and he is as good as it gets. He is very intense and passionate about what he does for a living. He is an absolute professional and master of his craft. He is committed to ensuring that the guests are given the best possible opportunity to catch the most fish. Gerrod will never try and get you to go in early once you have caught your limit on a certain species like other captains I have had. Instead, he will ask you what else you are interested in catching and give you the options. Once it is decided what else you want to pursue he is on the way to make that happen. Times when the targeted species weren’t working out, Gerrod found other ways to give us our moneys worth, from jigging for Amberjack around ship wrecks to kite fishing for Tuna. Gerrod is constantly working from the moment you step foot on the boat until well after you are off of it. On top of being really good at finding fish and setting you up to catch them, he is also very personable. In between bailing Mahi or reeling in Tuna, Gerrod is really easy to talk to and is just a good guy in general. I would recommend Gerrod to anyone and will guarantee that once you fish with him you will never want to fish with anyone else.
