El río St. Johns es un antiguo sistema de laguna intercostera, que obtiene su color té de los taninos, un color natural causado por la descomposición de material vegetal. A medida que los niveles del mar bajaron, las islas barrera se convirtieron en un obstáculo que impidió que el agua fluyera hacia el este, al océano. El agua se acumuló en el valle plano y serpenteó lentamente hacia el norte, formando el río St. Johns.
Tannic Water Adventures es miembro del Consorcio Marítimo de Pruebas de Drogas y somos una embarcación 100% libre de drogas.
Nos especializamos en Aventuras de Diversión Familiar que incluyen excursiones de pesca con equipo ligero para Corvina roja, Trucha y Platija, y otras especies de temporada.

Con Tannic Water Adventures obtendrá un Capitán con más de 40 años de conocimiento del río St. Johns, certificado por la USCG y que es el propietario y operador, no un Capitán subcontratado.
Nuestra embarcación es el bote Lake And Bay de 24' que está diseñado y construido para manejar las aguas agitadas de la bahía y las aguas costeras del río St. Johns y el Océano Atlántico con comodidad y estilo. Con un calado de solo 13 pulgadas de agua, el casco VEE modificado con una manga de 8'6'' crea una plataforma estable y espaciosa para pescar o disfrutar del día en el agua con amigos y familiares, impulsada por el confiable motor Yamaha.

I took a chance and booked an afternoon with Austin and it was completely worth the drive down from Raleigh. My teenage son and I were needing to get on a bite and Austin delivered. He took us to a great spot, had all the rods prepped, taught us both how to fish in this unique setting, and showed patience and guidance with my son. We got on quite a few redfish. There’s nothing like seeing your kid fight a red. Austin filleted our limit for us and we had a great dinner that night.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this review. I really appreciate you trusting me with your afternoon on the water, especially making the drive down from Raleigh. Getting your son on fish and watching him battle those redfish is exactly what it’s all about for me. I’m glad everything from the setup to the teaching and the bite came together, and even better that it ended with a great dinner. Our experience with captain Austin at tannic water adventures was an absolute 10/10! Everything about our trip was perfect captain Austin was incredibly patient and extremely knowledgeable about all of the species we caught and the water way we fished as a whole. Within the first 10 minutes of fishing we had 3 fish in the boat and it didn’t stop there as we caught over 20 plus fish through the corse of the day. I would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Tannic water adventures for absolutely anyone wanting a peaceful trip full of fish from anyone if you’ve been fishing your whole life or never touched a rod before we will definitely be booking with him again in the future !

This was a True experience,Captain made the trip all about me and my wife. I learned so much during this trip that I’ll remember forever. He had all equipment needed,plenty of bait he even Baited the lines for us every single time. It was awesome and he’s a Real down to earth guy very neat and professional I’ll definitely be going back! Highly recommended!!! We caught fish and he fished as well and would set the hook then pass us his pole too lol it was too cool! He gave me many tips for fishing that I never knew but made sure we understood and learned. Very nice Boat and professional Captain! Thank you legit this amazing experience!

my girlfriend and I had an amazing time! we caught some if the biggest fish we had ever caught, captain Austin! was very friendly and knowledgeable and knows where the fish are,and knows how to keep you catching them! thanks captain for a great fishing trip🏆💯💯💯

My son Brandon with Down syndrome and I have fished with Austin a handful of times and we have enjoyed our trip each time. He is very helpful and Brandon thinks he is cool. We will fish with Austin whenever he is available, and we are in town from California. I recommend Austin without reservation. Can't wait to fish with him again. PS: Brandon caught the biggest fish of his life on our recent trip. A very nice Redfish. Tim
