Estas aguas son conocidas por Macabí (Bonefish), Permit, Sábalo (Tarpon), Robalo (Snook), Jurel (Jack Crevalle), Barracudas, Jurel (Jack Crevalle), Macarelas (Mackerels), Cobia, Ronco (Grunt), Macabí (Ladyfish), Pargo de Manglar (Mangrove Snapper), Bagre (Catfish), y más – con un poco de suerte, ¡lo descubrirás por ti mismo!

En estas excursiones, la pesca con mosca es la mejor. No importa si eres principiante o profesional. El Capitán Tayo también ofrece pesca al curricán y pesca de fondo usando equipo ligero o cañas giratorias, pero puede que necesites traer tu propio equipo. Si no tienes una caña de mosca o una caña giratoria, el capitán te ayudará.

Serás bienvenido a bordo de un barco de bajos de 23' con espacio para 2 pasajeros. Tiene todo lo que necesitas para un día productivo en el agua. Las cañas y carretes no están incluidos, pero si no tienes uno, el Capitán Tayo te lo proporcionará. great trip even though no tarpon!

The captian gave me a good deal, pricewise! my main goal was to catch a tarpon, but unfortunately, we were not successful. We ended up finding a rolling group of them, but couldn’t successfully hook on. The captain searched really hard to find more, but we were not successful. We stayed an hour past the allotted time and I had to call it quits. You could tell he really wanted me to get that tarpon.

Besides that I did catch three barracuda, two bonefish and a Jack.

I appreciated the captains passion for fishing and commitment to getting me the catch. I never really saw him on his phone. It seemed like he was always looking at the water trying to find signs of fish. I appreciate that because you don’t see that a lot nowadays.

FISH WITH CAPTAIN TAYO!! HE WAS THE BEST

Our experience fishing in Belize with Captain Tayo and his crew was absolutely outstanding. During our visit, we spent three full days on the water with them, and every day was memorable. From the moment we started, the service was seamless—Captain Tayo conveniently picked us up directly from our hotel dock, which made everything incredibly easy and stress-free.

Throughout our trip, we had the opportunity to experience a wide variety of activities. We went offshore fishing and caught snapper, targeted tarpon, and even spent time conch diving and lobster diving. Captain Tayo and his crew are incredibly knowledgeable about the local waters and made sure we were always in the best spots to catch fish and enjoy the experience.

One of the highlights of the trip was feeding the tarpon—something we had mentioned wanting to do. Captain Tayo made it happen and ensured we got to experience it up close. It was an unforgettable moment for our whole group.

What made the trip even more special was how accommodating the crew was with our family. We had two kids with us, and they had an absolute blast. The crew was patient, friendly, and made sure the kids felt involved and safe while still keeping the adventure exciting.

If you’re visiting Belize and looking for a fishing charter that goes above and beyond, I highly recommend Captain Tayo and his team. Their professionalism, local expertise, and genuine hospitality made our trip one we’ll never forget. We truly got to experience the best of Belize’s fishing, diving, and marine life all in one adventure.

 our goal is made our guest feel at home and involved in the activities, fishing, snorkeling, free diving. we as guides have family and kids and needs a lot of patience and understanding what they want, when they call

I had an incredible experience out on the water with Captain Tayo. His expertise is undeniable; not only did he help me land my first barracuda and bonefish, but he also put me on the ultimate prize—a permit. Beyond the catches, I walked away with a wealth of knowledge about flats fishing and a newfound respect for the skill required to complete a Belizean trifecta. It was a truly humbling and rewarding day.

Tayo, and his deckhand who's name alludes me, were AMAZING!! Got us on bonefish minutes from the dock......worked schools all morning. So hard to leave fish to find fish, but we wanted a species day and  they provided.....got on a school of Permit and landed a beauty!!! Just the right amount of chatter, instruction and playful banter! Great guys......be ready for a workout and practice your long casts, you'll need it!!!

Incredible Experience

Half day on the flats! el marzo 5, 2026 • 2 adultos

Haziel was an amzing guide, spotted bonefish from far away and put us in the perfect position to get a shot at them. The boat positioning was perfect all day long even though the wind was strong. Highly recommend to any fisherman, would absolutely book this trip again, the only thing I would change would be to do a full day instead of a half!
