No faltan charters de pesca en la costa de Texas. Lo que hace diferente a Reel Adventures es simple: aquí no te tratan como una excursión más en el calendario.

El Capitán Corey Bickford construyó Reel Adventures para ofrecer a la gente el tipo de día en el agua que realmente recuerdan. Ya sea el primer Corvina roja de tu hijo, un grupo de amigos persiguiendo Corvina pinta, o una familia que simplemente quiere un día relajado juntos, el objetivo sigue siendo el mismo: pasar un gran momento y meter algunos peces en el barco.

Las salidas parten de Rockport y Port Aransas y se enfocan en Corvina roja, Corvina pinta, Corvina negra, Platija, Sargo chopa y especies de temporada dependiendo de las condiciones y la época del año. Cada excursión es privada, así que solo estarán tu grupo y tu capitán, sin barcos abarrotados ni extraños.

Pescarás a bordo de un barco totalmente equipado para aguas poco profundas con equipo de calidad y electrónica para mantenerse en la acción. Cañas, carretes, carnada, aparejos, hielo, agua y limpieza del pescado están incluidos. Solo trae tu licencia de pesca, snacks y lo que quieras beber.

¿Nunca has pescado antes? No hay problema. El Capitán Corey trabaja con principiantes, familias y niños todo el tiempo. Si eres un pescador experimentado, con gusto armará una excursión más técnica también.

Al final del día, Reel Adventures no se trata de pretender que cada salida es un torneo de programa de televisión. Se trata de buena gente, buenos recuerdos y un capitán que genuinamente quiere que tengas un gran día en el agua.

Great Fishing

This was a great trip during a shaky weather week. Captain Corey kept in contact with us before the trip to let us know he was watching the weather. There were storms but he was able to get us on the water after all. We went for redfish and he put us on some keepers using both live and cut bait. After the reds he found some trout we had fun with on live popping corks. Everyone on the boat caught fish. It was a fun time and we’ll definitely book again.

Fantastic fishing trip with Captain Corey

3/4 day inshore am el octubre 11, 2025 • 1 adulto • 1 niño

Corey took my son and I to several different fishing spots on our trip today.  We started off bay fishing and quickly caught our share or speckled trout and plenty of sand trout.  That was a lot of fun, since at home we spend a lot of time unsuccessfully shore fishing for freshwater bass.  So my son had the time of his life casting and reeling in good sized fish at a pretty quick pace.  

Corey then took us redfish hunting which he warned us would be less active, but we were determined to bring one in.  We were finding a bunch of catfish, which aren’t fish you want to keep.  Finally, just before we called it a day, one of our reels hit a 22” redfish.  Corey was super personable and was happy to share his fishing knowledge with me and my son throughout the trip, which made our time fly by.  In the end, we ended up with over 20 keepers, mostly sand trout, that Corey cleaned and bagged for us.  The trip was everything we’d hoped for.

What a great day!

Captain Corey took my daughter and I out to find some redfish in the bay.  With his knowledge of the local fish and seasons he got us on quality fish quickly.  My daughter and I both agree that Captain Corey was easy to talk to, charmingly funny, and very courteous.  It takes a lot to get my kiddo to show some emotion these days (she’s a teenager), and on our way home she had the hugest smile while recounting her catches.  Whether you’re a serious angler looking to fish hard for a PB, or just looking to get the family on the water for some fun and adventure, Captain Corey is your man.

Fantastic Trip

We caught speckled trout, redfish, black drum, sheepshead, spanish mackerel,  rockfish, Jack chevalle, and "grunts" over the 6 hours. not everything was keep size, but the variety was awesome! We caught our limit of sheepshead as we went to several spots looking for the fish. The captain was personable and very customer service oriented. Will definitely be booking with him again!

Fantastic Captain

We had an absolutely fantastic time fishing with Captain Corey! It was my son and two of his friends all 16. Corey was very knowledgeable of the local waterways and placed us in a hot spot where they were able to limit out.
