Hay un pez con tu nombre en alta mar frente a Huntington Beach y Wahooson Charters te ayudará a pescarlo! Tu guía para el día es el Capitán Pat, quien aporta años de experiencia profesional.
Estaremos buscando Atún Aleta Azul, Atún Aleta Amarilla, Pez Espada, Corvina Blanca, Lenguado, Jurel, Lubina Calico, Barracuda del Pacífico, Dorado y más dependiendo de las condiciones. Durante el viaje, podrás practicar pesca con equipo ligero, popping, curricán, o deriva con carnada viva. El Capitán Pat también ofrece pesca con cometa. Para los más aventureros, existe la opción de pesca submarina (trae tu propio equipo).
Si viajas con la familia, ¡te alegrará saber que los niños son bienvenidos a bordo! Los niños deben usar chalecos salvavidas y como la embarcación no proporciona chalecos infantiles, por favor trae los tuyos. Además, recuerda traer aperitivos y bebidas para que nadie se ponga de mal humor con el estómago vacío!
Pescarás desde un Catamarán Freeman de 37 pies que puede llevar hasta 6 pasajeros. Hay un baño a bordo para tu comodidad. Viajarás entre 25 y 100 millas mar adentro hasta los caladeros. Dependiendo de las condiciones, ¡viajarás a 40-50 nudos!
Encontrarás carretes Shimano de primera calidad a bordo. La carnada viva es una opción, donde puedes parar en la barcaza de cebo para recoger algunos.
Un Primer Oficial/Marinero estará allí para asegurarse de que todo funcione sin problemas. Una propina del 10-20% es habitual para mostrar tu agradecimiento por su arduo trabajo.
Se requieren licencias de pesca para todos. Siempre es recomendable llevar agua embotellada, protector solar y gafas de sol. El alcohol está permitido con moderación, solo evita los licores fuertes y las botellas de vidrio.

Booked a half day on the Wahooson with Pat Wade as captain. Was told to show up a little early as the fish were far and we needed to make a long run to the good water. We loaded up on premium sardine and headed offshore 45 miles in search of Dorado, they were in serious numbers at the time. We stopped on a kelp paddy around 6:30am and landed a couple fish after losing a few. We moved to look for another paddy and that’s when we found the “magic one”. It was absolutely LOADED! We all had fun for a few hours hooking and landing very nice quality dorado. Every fish that hit the deck was spiked, bled, and wired “Ike Jime”. We were done by 11am and headed back the barn early. Best half day of my life! Can’t say enough about my experience on the Wahooson with Pat. He truly cares about having a good time and especially fish quality. The fish I took home was some of the best quality fish of my life. I’d recommend this charter to anyone looking to fish in style with speed and comfort. If anyone has ever heard about Freeman boats, they are everything they are hyped up to be and more.

This is by far the best BFT trip I have ever been on! Captain Pat knows all the ins and outs of fishing these monster bluefin. He had the top of line tackle so when I was pulling in this 100#+ giant I had all the confidence that my tackle would not fail. Not only is Captain Pat funny, polite and very knowledgeable about fishing, his boat is built for slaying these big boys. It’s fast and comfortable with plenty of space to walk around and fish. I will be booking again in the very near future!

Booked a trip with captain Pat on the wahooson last October to take some of the company guys out. Could not have went any better, beautiful boat, knowledgeable captain with all of the assistance we needed. Even with spotty fishing reports Pat was able to get everyone on the boat a solid fish. Crew went home happy with a cooler of fresh fish. Highly recommend fishin this boat!!

Great experience with Capt. Pat on our full day trip targeting bluefin. Pat was able to locate many schools of tuna and set us up for success on the Wahooson. This boat is incredible and can get you from spot to spot very quickly. Also, the Wahooson is super spacious so you’ll feel especially comfortable on this boat. I can’t wait for our next trip! Tight lines!

Had an amazing one day trip to Santa Barbra Island. The Freeman being the star of the show! What a bad ass boat! Incredible to get to SBI that fast in so much comfort. Captain Pat and Alec are both on point in every aspect. We wanted some quick seabass and thats exactly what we got! We were hooked up 3 hours after boarding and back home after lunch.
