Reef Girl Sportfishing 

Last minute, booked an afternoon family fishing trip and it turned out awesome. We all caught a bunch of sea bass and a few sheepshead. The vessel is well-kept and perfectly comfortable for our family of 5. We brought sunscreen, a cooler bag with drinks and snacks, and appropriately-sized life jackets for our three kids. The captain and mate seemed very knowledgeable about the area and the potential for what could be caught during our trip. I’d recommend booking with this team again!

After booking our trip Captain Sam and i talked about what we wanted to get out of our trip and asked for his advice on a plan for the season. We caught our limit of Sea Bass and had an amazing time. Thanks Captain Sam, Chris and Justin

Was scheduled to a 3/4 day trip for 8 hours.Captain Sam called Wednesday night and said the seas were 6 ft and was going to need to cancel. Was offered our deposit back since the weather was the reason for cancellation. Said we do a inshore 4 hour trip trolling only for smaller fish and was about a 3rd of the price 1st mate Riley was very knowledgeable and took care of all lines and was a great person to fellowship with.We would definitely recommend them and will definitely go again, but want to experience the off shore fishing trip next time..5 stars to the captain and 1st mate

Capt Sam and his mate, Rilley, went out of their way to bring the fish. We only did a half day and they put us on 25 fish to take home. We caught blues and mackerels. I had different expectations being from FL, but Capt Sam knew that the waters here are required to go much further out here in NC. They were both true professionals the entire time and went out of their way to ensure me and my daughters and wife enjoyed the experience. We are now home and enjoying all the fish we caught. One of my best days on the water. I’ll see you guys again the next time we come back to the area for sure!!

We did an all day trip to the Gulfstream with Captain Sam and Riley the first mate. Captain Sam was great, entertaining and very informative. Riley knew exactly what to do and was was great at hooking the fish. He worked extremely hard so that we could have a great experience. We caught several fish including a sailfish. Great fun. I highly recommend the Boat and Captain Sam. It was a great time and when we go to the stream again, we will book it through Captain Sam Rick.

Turned out to be a bad weather day for offshore fishing so after talking with Captain Sam the night before we decided to change it up to a half day fishing the inlet for Spanish Mackerel and Blue Fish. Making the change to the reservation on Fishingbooker app was very easy. Turned into a great day, we hauled in 16 Spanish and 8 blue. Captain Sam and 1st Mate Riley were awesome!

Capt. Sam and Mate Justin were both great! Captain Sam took us out a bit from shore then Justin put out our lines! And just like that “Fish On”! We caught 5 nice size Albacore Tuna, 5 mackerel and 1 blue! It was a great trip! I highly recommend Captain Sam Mate Justin and Reef Girl!! Thank you!!

Book with Captain Sam and Riley for a 1/2 day morning trip to take my wife, daughter (11), and son (5) on their first charter experience and it was great! Sam put us on the fish immediately and Riley did an awesome job with kiddos. Great boat, good equipment, and an even better time.

Enjoyable 4hr fishing trip. Departed at 6AM which came with the bonus of sunrise and hungry fish. Riley was an awesome first mate who handled all the rod, tackle, unhooking the fish and filleting. We enjoyed the ride and reeling them in. A perfect morning on Emerald Isle.

Captain was very knowledgeable ! Knew where to find the fish ! Deck mate was amazing on keeping our lines in the water and getting fish off. Trip was definently worth money ! We had great time will definently be back ! Five stars all the way !
