Reel Escapes Hawaii está emocionado de agregar a su flota de embarcaciones un nuevo Cabo de 40' llamado A'u Nui. Pesca con comodidad y las amenidades de un amplio y confortable salón con aire acondicionado, sofá seccional, 2 baños, múltiples neveras y un área panorámica de descanso en el flybridge con el capitán.
Kona tiene la distinción única de ser uno de los pocos lugares en el mundo que ha capturado un Marlín Azul de más de 1,000 libras en cada mes del año, lo que significa que tienes la oportunidad de capturar un pez trofeo masivo. 4 of us hit the water on Saturday at 6:30 AM for a 6-hour trip. My best friend’s son caught his first ocean fish a Shortbill Spearfish. The 2nd up was his dad and he caught his first Blue Marlin (roughly 200 lbs). 3rd up was my wife, she battled 2 shark bits but came up dry. I was the 4th at bat and enjoyed watching the other 3 have a good time. The weather was perfect and Captain Dan and first mate Logan made it an even better experience. Watching Joshua catch his **first ocean fish—a short-billed spearfish—**was incredibly special, and then following that up with Jon's first blue marlin at around 200 pounds made for an unforgettable trip. While the sharks managed to get the better of Kristin's fish this time, that's all part of the adventure when fishing in Kona's waters! And sometimes being the fourth angler means getting the best seat in the house to watch everyone else battle fish and make memories. The owner, Brent, was great. He reached out before we left to be sure we were ready. We had an outstanding day with Rooster and Captain Dan. These guys were on time and ready to go when we arrived, and they wanted to catch Blue marlin as much as we did - if not more. Very few boats reported catching fish, so after 5 hours without any bites, we decided to head back to the marina, and just as we were about to go in, we caught a 320lb blue marlin. It was amazing!!! To make things even better, Rooster had a camera with a telephoto lens, so he got great shots of the fish jumping out of the water.
We caught 2 fish and missed 2 blue Marlin. It was an amazing experience that the captain and crew made possible. They were very professional and made all the difference. Have been on fishing carters before and they are way better than any before.

You could not ask for a better fishing charter. The captain and crew are extremely knowledgable and capable. If there are fish out there to be caught, Reel Escapes will put you on them. My son caught a huge spearfish. The crew expertly brought it into the boat and it made for an incredible memory for my son. In addition, the boat was new, immaculately clean, comfortable, and safe. The captain and his crew took safety very seriously. Again you couldn't ask for a better charter and we can't wait to go back and catch some more fish!

Dan and Logan were very welcoming guides. They answered many randoms questions and gave us lots of good ideas for other things to do on the island. The boat was very nice and clean as well. We got to see a few whales and tuna. We didn’t catch anything on our trip but Dan and Logan definitely tried their best and taught us a lot about Hawaii sport fishing.
