Con 18 años de experiencia en pesca y 6 de ellos trabajando para operaciones de primera línea en San Diego, el Capitán Danny está listo para hacer que tu viaje cuente con conocimiento, experiencia y confianza. Habiendo competido en la Serie de Lubina de Agua Salada desde 2019, ha acumulado 4 victorias y 10 finales entre los 3 primeros, además de 3 reconocimientos por capturas grandes. La pesca de lubina calico, lubina de arena y lubina moteada de bahía es su fortaleza y no tiene problema con las otras pesquerías también. Es nativo de Oceanside de sexta generación y está ansioso por compartir su conocimiento local y experiencia contigo en las aguas del Sur de California.

Nuestra embarcación es un Yellowfin 32 Offshore equipado al máximo con motores fueraborda Mercury Verado 400 V10 gemelos que te llevarán a la zona y de regreso de manera eficiente y segura. Electrónica Garmin de 16 pulgadas y sistema de sonido JLA para disfrutar todo el día. El motor eléctrico Rhodan tiene un sistema de anclaje GPS de élite para mantenernos en el punto.
Hielo, agua, equipo de pesca, limpieza de pescado y StarLink están incluidos en todos los viajes

Great day of multi-species inshore fishing

6 hour inshore yellowtail special el mayo 15, 2026 • 3 adultos

Had an awesome day with Captain Danny and Captain-in-training Hudson while fishing with a few family members out of Oceanside. Caught a nice yellowtail first thing, then caught a variety of species on our way back to the docks, including 4 new species for me! Danny knows his equipment, the waters, and is enthusiastic and fun to fish with. Would definitely recommend!

12 Hour Trip – Tuna Hunt el julio 9, 2025

Had the absolute best time fishing with Captain Danny. 

Him and his crew were super knowledgeable, professional, and clearly passionate about putting us on fish. They knew the local waters inside and out and had us on quality bites in no time.
Gear was top-tier and the boat was badass, had us out in the zone asap and making stops along the way. 

Can’t say enough good things. great vibes, weather, and most importantly, great fishing. Whether you're a local or visiting, don’t miss the chance to get out with this crew. I’ll definitely be booking with them again.

Catalina Island Lobster Trip el agosto 29, 2025 • 3 adultos

We did a 4 hour inshore with trip with Captain Danny Higley.  Fishing reports have been slow but Danny is an experienced captain and we were able to catch a total of 22 plus fish.  Mixture of rockfish, calico bass, white fish and some sand dabs.  It was an awesome day!  His deck hand Josh was awesome as well.  Great boat too!  Highly recommend Captain Danny Higley for your next charter.  Best part of fishing is hanging out with great friends, catching fish is bonus!

Amazing Trip

4 Hour PM fishing trip el enero 2, 2026 • 4 adultos

We did the afternoon fishing trip with Captain Danny and Ethan and had the best time.  Captain Danny checked in the day prior and his communications were always prompt and friendly. He got us on the fish and the crew handled everything for us.  Next time we are in Oceanside, we will be booking with him again.

Epic tuna fishing with Captain Dan!

12 Hour Trip – Tuna Hunt el julio 17, 2025

Booked this full day trip with Hola Cappy in hopes to see a tuna and we were given a trip of a lifetime! The fish were everywhere and there was no lack of excitement on the boat! The boat and the crew are top notch on top of the fact we caught 7 Bluefin and one away from limits! Beyond stoked, and highly recommend Hola Cappy Charters. We will be back to fish with Dan as we are wishing the trip never ended! No one in Oceanside compares to this operation!
