Convierta su próximo viaje a Burlington en una aventura y vaya a pescar con Captain Thorny's Fishing Charters. El Capitán Robert será su guía, brindándole acceso a su experiencia en la pesca deportiva.

Estas aguas albergan peces deportivos como trucha de lago, salmón del Atlántico, lucio del norte, trucha marrón, trucha arcoíris (steelhead), walleye y más, dependiendo de cuándo vaya. Buscará su captura mediante pesca con equipo ligero, curricán, jigging o quizás algo más especializado en esta área.

Su aventura comienza a bordo de un C-Hawk downeast de 22' con capacidad para 4 pasajeros. Tiene downriggers y todos los elementos esenciales. Hay un baño a bordo para su comodidad. Se incluyen cañas, carretes y aparejos, así como señuelos.

Contará con la ayuda de un Primer Oficial para encontrar peces. Los oficiales trabajan duro para que su viaje valga la pena, por lo que es costumbre dar una propina del 10–20%.

We booked this fishing trip on a whim when we were visiting Vermont and we are so happy we did! From the start, communication was great. Rob and Matt were intelligent, informative, helpful and really enjoyed what they do. They made the experience completely enjoyable and stress free. We had an absolutely beautiful day on the water catching a total of 20+ fish (salmon and lake trout). Rob even cleaned and filleted our fish so we could take them home to eat. We had a blast and we are already trying to plan the next fishing trip with them!

No Post-Labor Day Rest for Capt. Thorny & Mate Sean or the LC Fish!

6 Hour Trip – Salmon & Lake Trout el septiembre 2, 2025 • 1 adulto

Captain Thorny and Mate Sean worked their tails off to provide a great, successful Salmon and Lake Trout trip for this Lake Champlain rookie from NJ.  They explained the fishery, hydrogeography, and local lure. I was Impressed to find out that Capt gives back: participates in fisheries research programs (I got to fill out my own Salmon catch data form), takes out Wounded Warriors, challenged fishermen, and had a Make a Wish youngster. A genuine good guy. Oh and he knows his LC fishing: my personal first/best 26”, 8# Salmon! Airborne 4x and the fight had us all shaking after the netting. Caught and released her and multiple other salmon and also many nice Lakers to live and fight another day. Also loved his good-day-on-the-water celebration ritual! Thanks Capt Thorny and Sean for a memorable day.

6 Hour Trip – Salmon & Lake Trout el agosto 31, 2025 • 3 adultos

I took my two sons and I fishing with Capt. Ron and his first mate David.  Rob has spent 40 years on Champlain so he knew the spots to go for salmon, walleye, and lakers and the tackle to use.  We managed to catch some salmon in slow conditions but caught many lake trout.  Not only did Ron and David put us on the fish but taught us about the history of the lake and its fishery and also tips and tricks we could use if we went after these fish ourselves.  We have done other guided trips but this was by far the best.  Money and time well spent for this experience!

We had the best time on the CathyJean with Captain Rob & Sean. Super knowledgeable, very nice, and we caught a bunch of big fish! 

The lake is spectacular, too.

Awesome experience fishing with the fellas and landed a variety of species from the lake. They're very flexible and will give 110% to accommodate requests and make sure the experience is pleasant. Best part, it's a short jaunt to the fishing grounds unlike saltwater where it could be more than an hour, severely eating up fishing time. Dont hesitate to book with these guys, it's a must do when visiting the Burlington Area!
