Get ready to experience the exciting fishing waters of Playa del Coco. Captain Fabian knows the local waters and fishing grounds well, giving you the chance to enjoy a productive day on the water.

There's no guarantee when you're fishing, but some of the species you can catch around here include Amberjack, Great Barracuda, Bonito, Mahi Mahi, Grouper, Pacific Crevalle Jack, Roosterfish, Sailfish, Sierra Mackerel, Snapper, Albacore Tuna, and more, with any luck.

During the trip, you might be spinning, popping, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Fish caught during the trip are yours to keep, so long as they're within the legal limit. Catch cleaning is available, so you can take your fish home and throw it right into the pan. Your next meal doesn't get any fresher than that!

You'll be welcome aboard a 22' center console with room for 4 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water.

Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.

Before coming aboard, it may be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

Don't leave home without sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks provided on board.
