SOA Charters pesca en Charleston y Winchester Bay Oregon, ofreciendo una variedad de excursiones de pesca. Son expertos en lo que hacen, y al estar dirigidos por el Capitán Travis Marsh significa que no solo te llevarán a donde están los peces, sino que también te asegurarán que te diviertas mucho!
El Capitán Travis te llevará en busca de diferentes especies de peces. En las aguas cercanas a la costa, puedes pescar una variedad de Rockfish, Cangrejo y Lingcod. Un poco más lejos, podrías estar pescando Halibut, y en las aguas profundas mar adentro, pescarás Bluefin Tuna.
Pescarás a bordo de un barco de cubierta Hewes Craft de 28 pies del 2020, impulsado por motores gemelos Yamaha de 150 hp con una velocidad máxima de crucero de 40 nudos. Esta velocidad significa que no pierdes tiempo en viajes largos hasta los caladeros y lo usas en cambio para lo que viniste a hacer. Pescar.
El barco también cuenta con todas las características de navegación como GPS y un buscador de peces que te ayudarán a localizar los lugares de pesca más productivos. Todo el equipo de pesca está incluido y comprende cañas, carretes, aparejos, cebos vivos y artificiales, y todo el equipo de seguridad como chalecos salvavidas.
SOA Charters estará encantado de limpiar, filetear y embolsar tus pescados al regresar al muelle, con la excepción del Tuna. El Tuna puede ser limpiado en los muelles por una pequeña tarifa por los limpiadores disponibles allí.
El Capitán Travis posee una licencia de chárter USCG para seis personas, está certificado en RCP y Primeros Auxilios y posee una tarjeta TWIC.
Los viajes solo se pueden reservar si hay un mínimo de 3 personas en el grupo.

Travis had to cancel on us so he hooked us up with Josh Sutch guide service out of Winchester Bay. Due to a mishap on Josh‘s trailer, he lost a wheel bearing so that put us back an hour and a half from leaving the dock and it also cut our trip short due to. He had another client in the afternoon he needed to take out, but overall the fishing trip was good. He was very professional gave us a discount for the day for the mishap, Mark his deck hand was professional and very helpful. If we ever go back to Winchester Bay I will look Josh up for another fishing trip.

Booked a crabbing trip for my wife’s 60th birthday and had family fly out from Colorado and what a great experience we had with Captain Tom! Very knowledgeable, great personality and played great music while heading to our pots on a gorgeous Oregon day! We caught our limit in just four pots! I had my boys with me who are 6 and 4. Tom made sure to put the extra effort to make this a memorable trip for all of us. My boys had a blast and couldn’t wait to get home and eat their fish and crab. I wasn’t sure how it was going to work with my young kids, but his equipment made it so they could catch fish with ease! They loved the bumpy boat ride, we even saw some wales. They’ll be talking about this experience for a long time!
If you are not a person who fishes often this trip to fish small mouth bass was enjoyable, we caught quite a few fish. We did keep a few to cook however make sure your captain is aware you plan on keeping some. We told our captain we may want to keep some but he didn’t plan ahead & bring a better knife to filet the fish for us. He even mentioned it several times that he should have brought better supplies to take care of the fish. With that being said he could have done better at that for us. I also must advise that with 3 of us plus the captain it was a bit of a tight fit to comfortably fish without crossing lines. Overall not a bad experience just room for improvement on the captain making those who booked the trip feel they weren’t an after thought.

They offer to filet your fish if you’d like and even have the crab boiling set up for afterwards if you don’t want to manage the 12 per person limit that you’ll get!!!
