Built For Speed Salmon Fishing Charters ofrece aventuras de pesca en agua salada durante todo el año en West Vancouver, Canadá. Las aguas locales albergan las 5 especies de salmón del Pacífico. BuiltforSpeed es propiedad, operado y mantenido por el Capitán con licencia, Chris Speed. Con 40 años de experiencia dominando y pescando las aguas locales de Vancouver en todas las estaciones. BuiltforSpeed es un crucero express Zeta Marine de 24 pies, una embarcación de pesca totalmente equipada, cubierta, estable y rápida. Hay mucho espacio cubierto y cómodo para que cuatro pescadores disfruten de un día en el agua. Un motor interior Mercuiser383 de 330HP en una pata BravoIII y un motor silencioso/sin humos Mercury de 15HP para curricán, ajustado para obtener la velocidad exacta requerida al curricanear salmón. Se incluyen 2 pantallas Garmin de 12" de ecosonda/GPS, VHF Standard Horizon, estéreo AM/FM, baño privado, neveras con hielo. 4 downriggers Scotty HP con cañas ligeras de 10.5 pies y un gran inventario de cucharillas, hootchies, cabezas teaser para carnada y flashers, todos aparejados y atados por el Capitán Chris, contribuyen a una excelente tasa de capturas en cada salida!

Las salidas son de 5 horas y pueden extenderse a cualquier duración si se desea. Saliendo desde Horseshoe Bay, es la ubicación premium que ofrece una excelente oportunidad para Chinook y todas las especies a solo minutos del muelle. El curricán para salmón es práctica estándar en Vancouver. Se le proporcionarán cañas, carretes, aparejos, señuelos y carnada de calidad. A su regreso, su captura será procesada/empacada y puesta en hielo para el transporte y poder disfrutarla en la mesa. Viajar en avión con pescado está permitido.

Honest captain, Vancouver Fishing

Had a great trip with captain Speed. Beautiful scenery the entire time. Snow capped mountains, great seas, good company, and some good fishing. 
Pricing was considerably less than Vancouver city pricing verus guides around Granville Island, but a short 15 or so minute drive north. 

Captain Speed knew the area, put us on the fish, views of the area were beyond beautiful, worked hard the entire time, and was good company. 

But most importantly, he was an honest business owner and fisherman. I had over booked our trip last minute and he was quick to point out it might not be what I 
expected, and talked himself out of a few hours of fishing. His honesty alone made us stay the whole day.

Just Book It!

Simple as that.  Chris is a flawless technician of the art.  it is obvious that his skills and instincts are ingrained after so many years on the water, but he still displays raw excitment on the hook-up. An unbeatable combo. We were able to fish within ten minutes of the marina, followed the bait and had at least ten solid strikes. Landed a 15 pound winter Chinook, a 7 pound wild coho and several smaller chinooks. Lost another real nice Chinook right at the boat.  Between hits, Chris shared his extensive knowledge and passion of the sport.  During a short lull in the action, Chris sensed a change of presentation was required. We couldn’t get the second rod set up before we had a fish on the first!  Ad an experienced and travelled angler, I say again, Just Book It!

I booked a day of salmon fishing with Captain Chris for my husband and two sons as a surprise birthday present. They had an amazing day and it exceeded their expectations. Horseshoe Bay is a great starting point since it takes only minutes to reach a good fishing area. My son caught his first salmon within minutes of putting his line in the water. Chris was very knowledgeable, very well equipped with all the necessary fishing tackle, and gutted and cleaned all the fish they caught. My boys are already planning on going again next year and I suspect this will become an annual boys trip. Many thanks to Chris for a great day!

Had a great time time fishing with Chriss
He contacted me way before my trip to make sure I am all set for the trip and walked me through all the required paperwork ( fishing licenses).
We were not lucky enough to catch a keeper but we had a blash catching and releasing Chinooks and Wild Cohos.
He explained all the safety aspects and how to use all the fishing tackle.
