Meador's Guide Service – Galveston

captain Tim was a good time! it doesn’t take long to know when someone knows their stuff. we caught trout, reds, shark and sting ray with a few slip jack mixed in. we limited out on trout by 8:30am. what made it a special trip for me is i had my grandkids with me.
Tim Meador is a terrific guide. He took my 20 yr old son and I to a spot that was popping with fish the day before (based on intel he received), but we were only catching a bunch of small ones, so he wasted no time getting us to other spots he knew to produce. We started catching keeper reds and trout (what we were after) and had a good haul. We caught some other varieties too, but nothing else we wanted to keep. Tim must have some real mojo, because all the other folks we encountered on other boats were not catching much. Capt Tim communicates well and in advance of the trip. He had plenty of bait, rigs, and gear to keep us going and his boat is top notch. I learned more about fishing in the Galveston Bay area and fishing for these specific fish from him than anyone else I've fished with. Will book with Capt Tim again, can't wait for the next trip!

I learned so much from Captain Tim, this was my first time out with a charter. His knowledge is top notch and he’s also a funny guy. Would recommend 10/10. Captain Tim put us on a ton of bites always moving around looking for a better spot. Will be back.
Capt Tim knew the spots and never let us sit somewhere not catching fish for long. He was on the phone with other guides always trying to find the hot spots. We caught at least 25 different fish, including sting rays and sharks. Got our limit and had a fantastic fried trout dinner. Capt Tim took care of everything. We would definitely do this again.

Tim was so patient with my 8 and 12 year old. He works so hard to keep a bait constantly on the lines. We had a blast. Will definitely do this again. We hit our trout limit in about 3 hours. My daughter caught a massive 40 lb. black drum that she will never forget. What a great time. Guided fishing trips are the way to go. Bringing home a lot of fish to eat.

We boked a 4-hour trip and had a great time catching fish!

Tim is a guy who you want to learn from and fish with. You will have a blast and he definitely knows what he is doing. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a good inshore guide in the area. He is very knowledgeable and will put you on the fish no matter the conditions. He is patient and you don’t need any experience to catch fish with Tim.
Our wives gifted us a day with Captain Tim for Father’s Day! Most fun and best day ever!! Captain Tim, we will be back!!

Have been on many trips before but he is the real deal. He got my 2 boys and myself on fish the entire time know matter what it took. Kid friendly and just a great guy to have lead your guide service. Thanks for great service.

Had a great time with Capt Tim. He’s a wonderful teacher and patient since my buddy and his son were newbs to fishing saltwater. Will definitely use Meador’s Fishing Guide Service again.

Captain Tim is a real professional; worked his butt off insuring we had a good time. My goal was to learn Bastrop Bayou and he did not disappoint.
