    Great captain

BIg al is a great captain and we caught lots of nice fish. We had another offshore trip scheduled for the next day but it had to be canceled due to wind. I had wanted a shark on that trip so I was very disappointed. Big Al stepped in and took us back out to fill that slot. He even managed for me to get my shark. He went out of his way to make sure we had great time.

    Great Time On The Water

Easy access to the boat and were off and fishing in no time at all. Captain Clint had us on fish right away and we had a really good time. Very knowledgeable about the area and this fishery. We caught lots of white trout, mullet, and croakers. Caught a Sail Catfish which I had never even seen before a really nice Drum. Great conversation, Great captain and a Great time. If your thinking of fishing this area, you wont regret booking with Captain Clint

    Fantastic outing

Captain Arturo is fantastic! weather was dicey and he was very flexible with our start time to help us miss the worst of the weather. He then proceeded to work extremely hard to ensure we had a great time and caught fish. we managed to catch a few trout, a few reds and then when things slowed down a bit he put us on black drum like crazy. Start to finish a wonderful trip!

(4 Hour Inshore Fishing Trip - 6:30 AM)

    Would definitely recommend!

We started out first thing on big reds and limited out in them in the first 2 hrs. He put us right on the fish and we stayed on them. He was very accommodating to my father who is 80.I would 100% percent recommend Captain Danny.

Black Drum are powerful inshore fish known for hard pulls and tasty fillets from smaller fish. Anglers target them for steady action around structure and for the chance to hook a real heavyweight. They use whisker-like barbels to find food and can make a croaking sound, which adds to the thrill of Black Drum fishing.

You can catch them with bottom fishing around jetties, bridges, oysters, and channels. Natural bait works best. Try cracked crab, shrimp, or clams on a simple rig near the bottom. Let the bait sit and use scent to draw bites. If you like lures, bounce a jig or soft plastic slowly along the bottom.

Expect a patient, steady style of fishing with sudden, bulldog runs. This is great for first-timers, families, and seasoned anglers who enjoy a solid fight. Medium or heavy tackle with abrasion-resistant leader helps around rocks and shells. Circle hooks make clean hookups and easy releases. Bring sun protection, water, a hat, and non-marking shoes. Your captain or guide will provide the rest, including bait and tackle, on most trips.

Rules for Black Drum vary by location and can change. Before you go, check your local fishing license and permit needs. Review current season dates, harvest rules, and size or bag limits for your area. When in doubt, ask your captain or local authorities to make sure you are fishing within the law.
