Captain Eric Tilman started his guiding career in 1987, while guiding for various outfitters in Montana and Idaho. We were lucky enough to start our own charter business here in Wyoming in 2021. We can't wait to help you build a lifelong memory. Eric is a certified USCG Merchant Mariner credentialed captain. He is also current in First Aid and CPR. Eric's knowledge of fish behavior and habitat makes a day on the water an enjoyable experience. Of course, there are always many fish tales to share as well.

Excursión de Día Completo – Pesca en Lancha Motora • 2 adultosWe had an amazing fullday fishing excursion with Captain Eric. He was super knowledgable about all of the fishing, the equipment, and the fish…..basically everything. We caught an incredible amount of trout, including a massive Cut-throat trout and a very large rainbow, that he cleaned for us. We will definitely be back again, and he is highly recommended.

Excursión de Medio Día – Pesca en Lancha Rápida • 2 adultosWe met the Captain Eric at 7AM and left the docks immediately after a Safety Overview. We used four poles while trolling. I lost the exact count of fish that we caught but more than 12 in four hours. Captain fillet two of our fish and we ate them for dinner that night and they were tasty. We had a great time and my wife caught her first fish ever.

Excursión de Medio Día – Pesca en Lancha Rápida • 3 adultosWe caught twenty in four hours… mostly rainbow, one rainbow/cutthroat hybrid, and two brown. Kept four— which captain Eric cleaned for us— and released the rest. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. The boat itself is great as is the equipment. All in all, a great experience and worth everything we paid.

He answered all of our questions about fish biology, ensured we caught a good amount of fish and filleted them for us. He also had snacks and water for us. We really enjoyed our trip with him and would do it again in a heartbeat.

Excursión de Día Completo – Pesca en Lancha Motora • 5 adultos • 1 niñoWe all caught our limit and there was 5 of us. Mostly brown trout, a bunch of rainbows and even a few lake trout. A few over 20 inches, with the biggest brown almost 22 inches. This was a family trip and was the best charter we have ever been on hands down!!!

What an amazing day, perfect weather, fish were biting, and smiling clients. Team Navada/Cody put in the work and got rewarded with a nice cooler of fillets.

Big Cutties and Splake

The large cutthroats are chomping and the splake are pretty shallow. They are shollow and spread out. You don’t always mark fish this time of year as they are near the surface. We have been having good success covering water and keeping our gear up high. Still have a few open spots for late May and June.

Lower Sunshine Spring bite heating up

The bite was decent today. Fish are in amazing shape. The temperature was a bit brisk this morning, but the afternoon was absolutely gorgeous! The bite is going to get better and better, give us a shout if you want to experience this piece of God’s Country.

The spring bite continues to be good at Buffalo Bill despite a full moon and temperatures dropping. I was trolling and a couple of the boats jigging seemed to also be doing well.
