I began fishing at a very young age. I grew up on a lake near the Chattahoochee River in central GA. I spent all my free hours fishing! I don't know why I was so attracted to fishing, but from the first time I had a fishing rod in my hands, I was hooked! I hitch-hiked up the Alcan Highway to Alaska with some friends my junior year in college. I went home, graduated and went to a fishing show with a resume in my hand seeking a job in the fishing industry. I met a lodge owner that hired me as a 'beach hand' for his upscale lodge on the Cook Inlet in South Central Alaska. We worked hard every morning and fished hard every afternoon. I guided for the lodge the following 9 years, then started my own guide business in 2001. I met Mindy on the Kasilof River in 2004 and we got married and joined our fishing companies in 2008. I feel incredibly blessed to be part of such an amazing fishery in such an amazing place.

Charter de Fletán-- Embarcación de 6 Pasajeros • 1 adulto5 stars all day long. Captain Kyle and the entire crew were awesome from start to finish. Everybody was knowledgeable, worked hard, and put us right on the fish. I limited out on halibut and brought in a handful of cod too. Couldn’t have asked for a better trip or better people to spend the day with. If I make it back to Alaska, I’ll absolutely be booking with them again!

Excursión de 5 Horas (Tarde) • 2 adultosIf you have a family member regardless of ages, you’ll catch the fish and have a blast. Captain Hunter took us to a spot easily accessible by kids and ladies then moved to a spot more fish was found as we get more comfortable with the water and fishing. Kiddos to Hunter.

Excursión de Día Completo • 2 adultosWe spent the day on the Kasilof River with Captain Hunter, Jordan, and Noah. We caught two nice Sockeye Salmon on a relaxing float down the river. The crew were knowledgeable and friendly. Thanks for a nice trip.

In mid August the Kenai River begins to experience one of the worlds most incredible migrations. Silver salmon start to flood the lower tidewater sections fo the river, fresh from the Cook Inlet, Gulf of Alaska and North Pacific. As these fish move upstream they get "bitey" , snapping at each others tails, spinners sliding in front of them, pesky plugs wiggling in their path and jigs twitching through their peripheral vision. They just cant help themselves....they start snapping, getting hooked and almost always leaping straight out of the water towards the sky above!
As they hang in the air over the river's surface, anglers get their first glimpse at one of North America's premier fighting fish.
As if the bone jarring strike, long runs, and acrobatic leaps werent good enough....the mild, firm, and bright red flesh makes them amazing table fare!
These salmon will run from mid August until the end of October and are often part of a trophy rainbow, Dolly varden char and salmon combo trip.
