Bhookend Fishing Charters is run by Captain Eric Newhouse. An avid angler, he has been exploring the waters of Cape Cod since his late teens. This passion inspired him to start a charter company and become even more involved with all aspect of fishing. Capt. Eric received his license in 2009 and christened his boat, the Bhookened One, in March of 2009. He invests only in the finest tackle and gear and always puts his talent to work for you.

Excursión de Medio Día - Lubina rayada (máx-4 • 2 adultosI only have good things to say. Captain Eric met us at the harbor. He called us the day before to go over all the details. He was extremely curteous when we met and his boat was clean. Everything we needed for the excursion was provided. He took us all over the bay chasing the schools of fish. We had an excellent time and he made sure we all got some great catches. When we got back he prepared our catches for us to take home. We would be happy to use his charter again.

Excursión de Día Completo - Lubina Rayada (Máx. 4) • 2 adultosCaptain Eric was terrific. We had a great time and caught plenty of fish. We hit our limit and bought home dinner. As an added bonus we pulled up next to a lobster boat out in the ocean and got 2 fresh lobsters. Highly recommended and will definitely go out again with Eric when we visit again Thanks Captain Eric and be well Liz and Seth

He’s friendly, amiable, proactive, and and excellent/responsive communicator. He went out of his way to ensure that my 15-y.o. son had the salt-water adventure of a lifetime. He used sonar to locate (mackerel?), and even when other boats (with whom he was in radio contact) did not catch _any_fish (Mem Day Weekend, 2024, one week earlier than usual), Eric was all ove lr it. My son returned with macs, flounder, and they even caught striper (though striper went back in the water). Captain Nelson has decades of experience in commercial fishing. A true professional, and a great guy’

Excursión de Medio Día - Lubina rayada (máx-4 • 1 adultoEric is a fabulous captain and guide. He is very dedicated to finding hot spots and he knows the local waters very well. The day was slow for many of the the charters the day we were out but we still caught strippers and a bluefish. He did a great job teaching me how to use a pencil popper, which is a fun and engaging way to catch fish in the top water and way more fun than trolling. Eric has great stories of fishing lore in the area. Ask him about the lobster diver and the whale. Eric is a must book guide. You will really enjoy yourself!

When Dad and the kids get out

Kyle and the kids had an awesome morning, with a whale to watch, and some seals . We then went onto catch a bluefish and as you see some nice topwater stripedbass. We even got the kids on some mackerel, which made their day!

We had an awesome day, weather wise ans fishing wise.. the fish were moving around pretty good, but was able to stay up with them for some incredible topwater action. The guys produced some reallyvnice fish!

Spring is here!

Spring is here! Waters are warming and wont be long before Rods are bending and drags screaming!
Mid May is a good time for the beginning of the flounder showing, along with holdover and migratory stripedbass! Well be ready to go on any of the species listed! The family memories, the smiles on the kids faces, along with mom and dad are priceless and cant wait to see them, when they reel in some nice fish….. see you soon, tightlines!

Had Jason, his brother and wifes out today. Day started a little slow do to dirty water, but when the adjustments were made, some nice quality fish came over the rail… good job guys, and gals! Released numerous fish over 31”, biggest being 39.5”
