The fishing forecast for the Pacific wat

sep 9, 2025 • Ciudad de Panamá
With high activity expected throughout the month, this season presents a fantastic opportunity for anglers to target a variety of prized game fish. Current Fishing Conditions: September is an exceptional month for sport fishing in the Panama-Pacific, especially for those targeting migratory species. Our latest reports indicate that the mahi bite is in full force, and anglers are having great success. Additionally, sailfish and wahoo fishing remains excellent, with consistent reports of these powerful fish at the major banks and offshore areas. Yellowfin Tuna catches are also strong, with schools being found 50 miles off Panama City. Whether you are an experienced angler seeking a trophy marlin or a family looking for a fun day on the water, the abundance of species ensures a memorable trip. Limited-Time Bonus: A Majestic Marine Spectacle Enhance your yacht rental experience with an unforgettable, limited-time opportunity to witness one of nature's most impressive events: the Humpback Whale migration. From July through October, thousands of humpback whales travel from the cold waters of Antarctica to the warm, protected waters of the Panamanian Pacific. Here, they breed and give birth to their calves, making for an awe-inspiring sight. Why this is an unparalleled experience: A Sanctuary for Giants: The calm, tropical waters off Panama provide a haven for mother whales to nurse their young, offering a unique chance to see these majestic creatures up close. Peak Viewing Season: September is the peak month for whale sightings, with some tours reporting a 95% success rate. Witnessing a whale breach or a calf playing near its mother is a truly magical and humbling experience. Exclusive Opportunity: This migration is a seasonal event that will not be available year-round. Combining your fishing adventure with a dedicated whale-watching excursion adds a priceless memory to your charter. Don't miss the chance to experience the thrill of world-class fishing while also marveling at the incredible journey of these gentle giants. Unprecedented Offshore Action!

jun 2, 2025 • Ciudad de Panamá
The fishing offshore of Panama has been nothing short of phenomenal! We're thrilled to report that this isn't just for dedicated fishing charters! Even our yacht rentals, which allow you to enjoy the stunning Panamanian coastline and islands for leisure and exploration, have been reeling in some truly impressive big fish. The Bite is On! The past few weeks have witnessed an increase in activity in our offshore waters. The sailfish and tuna bite has been particularly hot, with multiple hookups reported daily. Our captains are skillfully navigating to prime fishing grounds, and the results speak for themselves. Unexpected Thrills on Leisure Charters What's truly remarkable is the consistent success experienced by guests on our luxury yacht rentals. While enjoying a leisurely cruise, perhaps en route to a secluded island or a vibrant snorkeling spot, the opportunity to drop a line has proven incredibly fruitful. We recently had a couple charter a yacht, and on their way to the Pearl Islands Archipelago, they decided to cast a few lines. In just a matter of minutes, they landed a massive Wahoo, a powerful Bull Mahi, and several Yellowfin Tuna! This incredible haul, achieved in a brief, spontaneous fishing session, perfectly illustrates the current abundance of our waters. We've also had reports of: Sailfish Madness: Several magnificent Pacific sailfish have been successfully fought and released by guests who decided to "give fishing a try" during their yacht charter. The thrill of hooking into one of these apex predators from the comfort of your private yacht is an experience truly unlike any other. * Tuna Triumphs: Large schools of Yellowfin Tuna have been abundant, leading to exciting battles and the reward of fresh, sashimi-grade fish. Our guests have been reeling in tuna upwards of 40-100 pounds, providing incredible fights and even better culinary experiences onboard. * Dorado Delights: Vibrant Dorado (Mahi-Mahi) has also been making appearances, adding splashes of color and feisty fights to the mix. These acrobatic fish are always a welcome sight and make for excellent table fare. Why Now is the Time to Book Your Yacht Adventure: This exceptional fishing activity, which extends even to non-fishing-focused yacht charters, underscores the incredible marine biodiversity and healthy fisheries that Panama boasts. For those considering a luxurious escape to the Pacific, now is the perfect time to experience the thrill of offshore fishing combined with the unparalleled comfort and freedom of a private yacht. Our experienced crews are well-versed in both navigating these beautiful waters and assisting with any unexpected fishing opportunities that arise. Whether you're a seasoned angler or a complete novice, the chance to battle a trophy fish from your private yacht is an unforgettable addition to any itinerary. Don't miss out on the chance to combine world-class leisure with world-class fishing. Inquire about our yacht rentals today and prepare for an adventure that might include the catch of a lifetime.

Fishing in Panama during the rainy seaso

abr 19, 2025 • Ciudad de Panamá
This week, we have been getting the first few rains of the season. This means nutrient-rich waters from the warmer South Pacific will attract microorganisms, which will then attract the upper stages of the food chain, in other words, bigger fish. Pelagics like tuna, mahi, sailfish, and Marlin will be our predominant bites until November. This day, as we were passing the deepest waters on the way to the Pearl Islands, with an average of 200 feet deep waters, we encountered huge bait balls full of diving birds, which gave us the first indicator of fish around while deciding where to throw lines we spotted some dolphins. There's something that we can tell with dolphins: tuna. We started shifting our lures to cedar blocks on our trolling lines and had our spinning lines with poppers ready to cast them. Whenever we got a bite on the trolling Lines, we immediately cast those poppers and maximized tuna bites. Welcome to Panama game fishing mecca! Enjoy the footage of this beautiful day of tuna fishing in Panama.

Big bonus for all clients fishing form

oct 10, 2024 • Ciudad de Panamá
What makes fishing so good in this Time of the year? The answer to this is all correlated, the predominant currents coming from the South Pacific deep sea trenches crash with the continental shelf creating a stream of upwelling, forming nutrient-rich regions, not only ideal for targeting pelagic fishes but also bring the visit off hump Back whales, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity that only happens during a short period of time every year, so bring all you family on board, even nonfisherman because everybody Will have a blast!

Sail fish surpise!

ago 2, 2024 • Ciudad de Panamá
The fishing species in Panama are pretty well marked mainly in 2 seasons: The rainy season is in the summer; this time, the waters get warm, which is best for sea fishing. The other season is winter, which is not a cold winter (same temperatures as summer), but it's when the water gets chilly. And we focus on deep-water species. However, between these marked fishing species seasons, there are unexpected species surprises! For example, since June, we've been getting a more active than usual number of sailfish on our bites. From half-day trips to Extended trips, the extended South Pearl Islands and full-day Pearl Islands have the most sailfish catches. We practice catch-and-release for this species, and when possible, we board the species for a nice picture and then release it. The most popular lures for attracting them have been Ballyhoo rigged with an artificial skirt and normal fake surface squids.
