Captain Joe Lyons has been fishing for about 5 decades and has been a licensed captain for over 23 years. His son is also a licensed captain and his first mate. Saltwater runs through the Lyons veins and they're proud of their fishing heritage. Their favorite part of the job is being out on the water and teaching kids how to fish. Capt. Excursión de Medio Día (Mañana) • 6 adultosCaptain Nick and his first mate put us on fish and we had 29 in the boat within 90 min. They communicated well before the trip and both were friendly, helpful, and patience during our time on the water. it helped that we had calm waters and a beautiful day. While this day will never be replicated, I would recommend this crew for your next fishing adventure.

Excursión de Medio Día (Tarde) • 6 adultosGreat day fishing on the Tara Ann! Captain and first mate were top notch. The Captain had us on the fish right away, multiple rods going off at the same time. Everyone had a blast, we will be back in the Tara Ann next year!

The inshore trolling remains good. With usually lots of action with bluefish and occasional spanish mackerel or bonita. This morning we hooked into a big cobia, which is a rarer catch for this area.

Sometimes you never know what you’ll hookup on a trolling trip. Our 4hr afternoon trolling trip today, we hooked into a nice size hound fish we also caught some blues. The morning trip was a 3hr inshore bottom fishing trip. We caught some seabass and croakers.

Our 3hr trips have been producing alot of action with seabass, smaller flounder, blue fish, croaker and occasionally small sharks. The 3 hr trip is a great trip for beginners and kids or for someone not looking to go out far.

Loading up on the blues trolling

The inshore trolling has been producing nice catches of blues. The Spanish mackerel and Bonita are just starting to show up. The bottom fishing for flounder has been good however not many seabass in the mix.

8hr trip tons of action

We had a great 8hr trip today. Started off trolling limited out on blues and had 3 Spanish mackerel. Then ran in on the reef managed out limit of seabass and 2 triggers. The one trigger weighed in at 4.3lbs. Plenty of action the whole trip. We still have dates available for August and are booking for September. The inshore trolling and bottom fishing for flounder should remain good through September.
