Captain Chad Raney is a Florida native who has been fishing his whole life. He grew up fishing tournaments with his father along the southeast coast and traveling all over the Bahamas and Mexico. These experiences made him into a bait and kite fishing. He has won multiple Billfish and IGFA tournaments. Capt. Chad says, 'I found fishing not just a hobby, but a way of life.' He started fishing professionally right out of high school and worked as a First Mate on a charter boat out of Haulover during college. He made his way up the ladder, eventually earning his captain's license at the age of 21 and becoming the youngest captain to ever run a charter boat out of Haulover. Today he is the owner of the 'Old Hat,' with over 15 years of experience fishing from Haulover Park marina.

    we caught wahoo, tuna, bonita and a mahi mahi!! awesome captian amd first mate!! An amazing day. The capt. and mate were hands down the best I've ever been with. I think this crew could handle any fishermen that come along. young or old. bring plenty of water to drink and snacks. And just losten to their advice. cant wait to do it again next year.

    Captain Chad and Ryan went above and beyond to ensure a great & memorable experience and hell of a catch! I highly recommend them and certainly will be booking with them again.
