With the weather being kind to us with sunshine, light winds and good temperature for early October we enjoyed a nice morning fishing with Charlie and his crew with plenty of Hounds, Bass Doggies and a Gurnard. So it's BBQ night at the campsite for a fish feast

Still finding plenty of Mackerel for Adrian's crew from Oxford so the bbq will be sizzling tonight. Can't beat the taste of fresh fish and they only way to get the freshest Mackerel is to come and catch them. Along with Smoothounds, Bass and Gurnard we are enjoying busy trips aboard HUSSLER

Plenty of species to aim for with Smoothounds, Mackerel, Bass and Gurnard coming aboard HUSSLER keeping the anglers and the BBQ's busy
The youngsters have been making the most of their summer holidays before going back to school
The fishing will be changing along with the season with more Skate and Whiting with the Bass holding on until late October with maybe a few Mackerel that are in prime condition

Busy day aboard HUSSLER

Marcin and crew had a busy day fishing aboard HUSSLER of Ramsgate with a steady run of Smoothounds up to 11lb, Doggies and a large Skate that defied our light tackle in the strong tide. The afternoon brought stronger winds so we relocated closer to the harbour where we managed a couple of good Bass the best going around 5lb.
Great day out with plenty of laughs made the day
