Captain Edward retired in 2021 and that gave him the chance to pursue his dream of becoming a charter captain and share his love of the outdoors and fishing. The captain started with a Zebco 202 freshwater fishing when he was 5, moved to St. Augustine 46 years ago, and hasn't stopped fishing.

Excursión de 6 Horas –Fondo/En Alta Mar • 4 adultos • 1 niñoMy daughter and I did a little of the fishing, but the trip was mainly for the two boys, ages 8 and 13. All together, I think we caught more than 32 fishes of several different species. And a few more were hooked but pulled off before we could get them in the boat. That is even though this is generally not the best time of the year for fishing in this area. Captain Swain was very personable and did his best to instruct our boys in technique. At the end of the trip, Captain Swain cleaned all of the catch that we kept, And we were able to take the catch to a seafood restaurant not far away, where they cooked it for our lunch. We really enjoyed that!

The surf was too rough to go offshore, but he didn’t miss a beat and took us to the intercoastal where he knew exactly where to find the fish. We caught a bunch, had a great time, and he cleaned everything for us at the end. Absolutely recommend him — we’ll be booking again next summer.

Excursión de 4 Horas – Intracoastal • 5 adultos • 3 niñosWe had a great time with Captain Ed! The boat was great, and he took us around to a few different spots to make sure we all caught something. Also, Ed was patient with our little one who has not fished before. All in all, it was a great trip and we will definitely be coming back when we returned to the area!

Excursión de 4 Horas – Intracoastal • 4 adultos • 1 niñoWe thoroughly enjoyed our excursion. Our captain was courteous, knowledgeable, and accommodating. We were able to navigate a few spots and in each location reeled in a few keepers. The conversation and great service were icing on the cake. Highly recommend!

Edward was very professional and welcoming. We caught mackerel and Cobia pretty consistently during our whole trip.
