More Than a Fishing Trip—A Great Coastal Experience

    Excursión de 2 Horas - 10:30 AM • 3 adultos

We had a wonderful time with Captain Quinn! Since we're not avid fishermen, we really appreciated how accommodating he was throughout the trip. He tailored the experience to our interests, giving us not only a chance to fish but also a scenic tour of the area that made the day even more enjoyable. Captain Quinn was friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to spend time with on the water. The trip felt relaxed and personalized rather than rushed, and we learned a lot while taking in the beautiful scenery. Whether you're a serious fisherman or simply looking for a memorable day on the water, we highly recommend booking with Captain Quinn. It was one of the highlights of our vacation!

    Great Short Trip

    Excursión de 2 Horas • 3 adultos

The Captain called before the charter and explained the bite wasn't good in his morning outing and gave us a chance to cancel on short notice which I thought was very but we were ready for an outing on the water. We went anyway and he took us to alot of spots trying very hard to get us on some fish. We did get on a couple bites and finished on spot that did lead to getting fish on the line and stayed a little late to make that happen.

    Honest review

    Excursión de 4 Horas (Tarde) • 4 adultos • 2 niños

Captain Quinn provided my family with an incredible experience on our trip. At every location we visited, we were able to catch different types of fish, which made the day both exciting and memorable. What truly stood out was his patience and willingness to teach my two kids exactly what they needed to do at each spot, helping them learn while still having a great time. Captain Quinn created the perfect balance of a relaxing day on the water while still delivering a fun and action-filled fishing experience. His knowledge of the area and his ability to guide us to productive fishing spots made the trip even more enjoyable. If you are looking for a knowledgeable, patient, and personable guide who will ensure you have a great time on the water, I would highly recommend Captain Quinn.

    very herd working guide

    Excursión de 4 Horas (Mañana) • 3 adultos • 1 niño

We had a tough day of fishing due to weather conditions that was out of the captains control. Even though the fishing was tough Quinn never gave up and worked non stop trying diffrent techniques to try to put us on to fish. He even managed to keep my 6 year old attention with a slow bite going on. Seeing how hard he works to insure his clients are happy id have hesitation booking with him again.

Dog Days of summer

jul 25, 2025 • Santa Rosa Beach
Unfortunately we are in the midst of the summer blues. Heat advisory index’s almost daily and water temps are hovering around 90 degrees in the bay. There isn’t a ton of quality fish to be found. The heat definitely has them lethargic. Historically this time of year is tough, but it seems this summer has been tougher than usual. Water quality issues, overfishing and the heat have made it difficult this summer. We are occasionally finding some good fish, but we are having to work for them. I try to be as transparent as possible when it comes to this fishery and my profession. Its going to be tough for the next few weeks, but if you’re willing to tough it out, you may just find a gem in the midst of this summer haze. Tight Lines, Capt. Quinn

Spring has sprung!

mar 28, 2025 • Santa Rosa Beach
We area finally out of what I believe to be the last cold snap. Water temps are in the 70’s and it has the fish moving. While it may seem that every trip is a success, it really hasn’t been that way. Just six days ago it was 39 degrees in the morning. We have had stable temps the last week and it has made the fishing a little more predictable. Afternoons seem to be the best lately, especially with a south wind. Hope this helps and look forward to getting you guys out there!

Patience is Key!

mar 6, 2025 • Santa Rosa Beach
As we get into Spring, it seems the weather cant make up its mind. Hot, cold, windy, its been all over the place, which had made locating quality fish somewhat difficult. However, covering plenty of ground we have been able to locate a few quality fish. As we get further into March and temperatures start to stabilize we should see a more consistent bite.

Hot, Hot, Hot!

jun 28, 2024 • Santa Rosa Beach
We are now in the full swing of summer! The temperature can attest to it. While the fishing has been challenging, we are making the best of it. On my GPS fish finder I recorded surface level temperatures at 90.4 degrees this week. Thats hot, and basically bath water temps. With all that being said, we are still locating solid fish, it just takes a little more patience and covering a lot more water than usual. We have been hitting shaded docks, deeper creeks and river mouths and getting on them early to combat the heat. The fish are like us humans, by about 10am its pretty hot and they are looking for shade and cooler waters. The late afternoon bite and early mornings are where its at. 7-10am and about 3-7pm have been the best times for fishing. Hope to see you guys out there. Tight lines!! Capt. Quinn

Lots of Redfish!

jun 12, 2024 • Santa Rosa Beach
The bite has been pretty good this past week as far as catching redfish goes. The only caveat, is that the majority have been either too big or too small. It is good seing a lot juvenile redfish active in the bay! As long as we don’t get a ton of wind and rain, I see the bite staying pretty good for the next couple of weeks.

Sunmertime Redfish

jun 1, 2024 • Santa Rosa Beach
Fishing has been slow then fast, hot and cold. Some days are easier than others, but we are locating quality fish. Sometimes we just have to work a little harder to find them.
