Southern Saltwater Fishing Charters was established in Murrells Inlet, SC by Harry Evans, who was the host of the Southern Saltwater Fishing show for over 20 years. Trips are run by Captain Perrin Wood. Capt. P grew up in South Litchfield Beach and Murrell's Inlet and has over 40 years of experience inshore and offshore. The Southern Saltwater Charter captain is eager to teach you how to catch fish, clean fish, and have an enjoyable day fishing. For the unexperienced and seasoned anglers alike, let's go fishing and have a fun day!

Excursión de Medio Día (Mañana) • 5 adultos • 1 niñoWe had a great time fishing with Captain Perrin. We had a group of five and we all caught fish, including red, shark, flounder, and sting ray. The captain was very knowledgable of the waters, and did a great job putting us on fish. My 16 year old nephew caught his first red (28 inches) and my 12 year old nephew was very excited to reel in a sting ray. The captain went above and beyond making sure we had fish to take home and even gave us some tackle and bait we needed for fishing off the beach for the remainder of our trip. Would highly recommend!

Excursión de Medio Día (Mañana) • 3 adultos • 1 niñoI highly recommend Captain Perrin. He is very knowledgeable and informative on what his plans were going to be for the day. He took me, my wife, and our 11 year old son out today. My son got the skunk out of the boat early with his first Cobia. He then proceeded to catch another first with a Flounder. We ended the day with 6ft Sandbar shark whch was a blast, and quite the workout! Captain Perrin is a great option if you plan on getting a charter in the Murrels Inlet area.

Captain Perrin is a native who knows the waters, the best spots, and will set you up for success. Great for all ages. We wont book anyone else in the future.
