August has been hot! The weather has been hot & so has the fishing. The speckled trout bite has been early & often. Catching near limits or limits is normal right now. We are catching a few red fish too. People are getting out one last time before school starts & before our limits change. Right now each angler can keep 10 trout within the limit size, but starting on September 1st the limit goes to 5 trout per angler. Should be good for our fishery & our bay system should strive from the new limit regulation. Fishing is good right now so if u want to get out & take advantage of it, book a trip soon.
