Terrific day fishing on Mentor Lagoons-

Ran a four person trip today with Al and his co-workers. Went out to 60' and ran a program of downrigger's, dipsey diver's, and crank baits off of the big boards. I couldn't keep 8 lines in the water as the bite was so fast - fish ranged 17-24'. Got them their limits in three hours and a few bonus fish from the Captain's license. Had the pleasure of hosting the folks from Carter Lumber. The 10 person group included folks from Arkansas, Georgia, Canada, and a few other locations. The weather was perfect, and the fishing was fantastic. After we got back to the dock, we treated them to a shore lunch and made arrangement to ship their catches home. What a great group and a shout out to Top Flight Sport Fishing for providing the second boat needed and Brennan's Fish for hosting the shore lunch.

Fishing out of Lorain continues to be exceptional - Six man limit plus four bonus fish from my license - I have availability in June-July-August - fish in comfort on my 35' Viking.
