Beautiful morning fishing trip, I had early risers so on the water at 6am. Started throwing topwater baits, super spooks for speckled trout. It didn't take long for a bait got slapped by a big fish. It turned out to be a 35 drum, not a trout. We ran into a big school over the slot redfish in sight of Cape Lookout Lighthouse. Great way to start the day. We a good bite on this school of fish.
