Air Kuning Wild Peacock Bass

We went for peacock bassing at a lake in Perak. This is the first time we fished this lake so there are lots of new things to discover and learn. Nice place where you can get quantity. We caught few peacock bass using a 5cm swimbait and 3.5g round jighead. Enjoy this video!

This lake is quite small, but it has very unique structures consisting of sandy bottom, hydrillas and limestones. Because of these structures, peacock bass here do grow into very good size where you have better chances to break your personal record than other lakes in Perak. This is one of the few lakes where you get to catch both quantity and quality. Besides peacock bass, you get the chance to fish for the protected snakehead fish know as Bujuk. They also have ready to rent chalets besides the lake. Book the chalets for one night, you get to fish Lembah Jernih from a private area for two days. Very convenient!
